Uhh, that ship has sailed, Newt.

Defending Marriage. As President, I will vigorously enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, which was enacted under my leadership as Speaker of the House, and ensure compliance with its provisions, especially in the military. I will also aggressively defend the constitutionality of DOMA in federal and state courts. I will support sending a federal constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman to the states for ratification. I will also oppose any judicial, bureaucratic, or legislative effort to define marriage in any manner other than as between one man and one woman. I will support all efforts to reform promptly any uneconomic or anti-marriage aspects of welfare and tax policy. I also pledge to uphold the institution of marriage through personal fidelity to my spouse and respect for the marital bonds of others.

Anybody who votes for this sociopath needs to have their brain removed and examined. I mean, really, could any "normal" person on Earth utter these kinds of outlandish flat-out lies with a straight face? The only way you could do it is if you are a sociopathic personality.

This guy was screwing his secretary while dragging this country through an impeachment based on immorality charges.

So you don't think he's faithful now, nor can he be faithful to his wife? That says more about you than it does about Newt.

You want a sociopath, look up 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.

Newt is no saint but he is not as corrupt as BO. BO's background is full of controversy and corruption and shadey deals with questionable characters. I'm not a Newt fan but again, the libby lefts utter HYPOCRISY in their condemnation of Gingrich while letting a corrupt criminal like BO sashay around the white house is why I truly despise the left.

hypocrisy, hypocrisy and yet more hypocrisy by the libtards.

Anyone who votes for BO should be ashamed of themselves and issued a retard card.

I know the election is a year away, but saying they are toast up against Obama is not entirely accurate. He's got major hurdles to cross if he wants to win re-election.

Yep and you of all people (Mr. "hey look at my poli sci degree, aren't I great!") should understand the corruption of BO's background from his father to his childhood, up through his questionable academic history to his political ties in the Democratic Party machine in Chicago.

It's a boat load of suck any way you slice it.

The difference is I do understand his background. You use him being from Chicago as a punchline. I don't find the political history of the Daley's and Obama to be synonymous. Any characteristics or similarities you'd like to bring up other than them being Chicago guys?

BO came out of the Democratic Party Machine that Chicago is notorious for, I highlighted how he got his home in Chicago in one thread to give just one of many, many, many examples of his questionable background.

The thing is that there are so many questionable things about BO's background that even if only say 25% of it is actually true, it's still extemely disturbing.

What's the old saying--where there's smoke there's fire. There's way too much smoke in BO's background to ignore or just sweep under the rug.

Please. Gingrich was getting a BJ in the car outside the building where his children were at a Christmas Party. And the woman who witnessed this says it's just a good thing that the kids were too short to see into the car. And now he's the paragon of fidelity? And all you can come up with is, "Obama did some political **** in Chicago?"

Actually no, I can come up with a lot more about BO and again I already highlighted just one of his questionable dealings with Rezko in another thread.

The thing about Roh is I'm not defending Gingrich. You guys keep trying to divert BO's corruption by looking at Gingrich but that doesn't change the fact that BO's background is disturbing and that he got elected as our president is even more scary. Now I get it, he's an African American and with all due respect, his past was pretty much ignored because of the historical precedent he was setting.

He's going to get 4 years as the president but he does not deserve any more time in the white house. I wish you would concede that.

I'm all for that. But who replaces him, that's the problem. Gingrich? That's going from bad to abomination.

Nope, but it does reinforce my argument that BO's background is loaded with one controversy after another.
