Not!
“I know everybody wants to know, but our future’s right now,” Elway said, via SportsRadioInterviews.com. “When you look at where we are, the future is the Chicago Bears. We’ve got three out of our last four at home. We’re coming off five of six wins. So, we’re excited to come home. I think the city’s excited about it, the fans are excited about where we are right now. The future is now and I think the key thing is for us to continue to keep focused on each game coming up and try to win this division and get in the playoffs and see what happens.”

I actually have no problem with this. We are relevant for the first time in years, in the middle of a playoff/division race and things are exciting again here in Denver. I would rather them focus on game by game mindset than worry about something they will take care of in a couple months regardless.

Me too. Elway's right. The future is the Bears.

"I think we'll all look back on this era one day, and joke about how I didn't like Tim at first."

Noticed both Elway and Fox used that phrase "The Future is Now." PR staff must be helping them gameplan for Monday's now!

I think Elway and the FO read my PR 101 Tips thread, too!

Lots of cliches, just the way it should be. Stay positive, stay current, don't reveal too much. Obfuscate.

Notice how Elway chewed up a lot of air time but actually said very little? That's the key.

Good job, Elway!

Now THAT'S what a GM should say. The Duke is getting better at his job just as Tim's getting better at his. Win.
