I know no one really pays attention to these, but the Broncos are in the top ten of most NFL power rankings this morning... I can't remember the last time we were top ten, I don't even think that happened when we were 6-0 in 2009.

Brian Billick on Fox Sports says he is a "converted Tebow believer."

After six weeks of criticizing him, I have done a complete 180 and am now fully aboard the Tim Tebow bandwagon. This young man has what it takes to be successful in the NFL. - Brian Billick

Anyway, the highest is Mockingthedraft - has us at 7th.
The lowest is Bleacher Report, has us at 11th.

Can you imagine if we really are leading the division next week? When was the last time THAT happened?

I do appreciate you linking all this. However I honestly don't have particularly strong feelings on our "power ranking" which isn't really based on anything other than how pundits believe a team is trending. It really doesn't make me feel any better. Just like I didn't feel any worse when they all said we sucked.

You posted the link for Billick's ratings twice, Smurf...

Anyway, it's exciting. We have the Bears lite and the Raiders have to contend with Green Bay. Being first place all by ourselves is going to be great...:tebow:

Top Ten.. and having celebrities like Bill Cosby talking up the Broncos and Tebow.

“I like the way that team plays football and all of these people who don’t understand it tell ‘em to c’mon and beat him. Because it’s football ‘boom, boom.’ And tell Tim [Tebow], I said don’t worry about what all of these people are saying, just show him old films of Joe Kapp, Minnesota Vikings. Football played.”

Shut up dude. Von Miller and Willis McGahee stepped their game up and that had much more to do with the Broncos success.

If Tebow turns out to be half the QB Elway was, this whole experiment will be a success.

And it's still Elway's 7-5 team!

In your profile pic, you're the little kid, right? Because you know nada about the Broncos. Plus the spelling of your adopt a Bronco. I have a feeling we have a second account here. MacGruder?

Elway........Traditional QB.:giggle:

In all fairness, Elway became a great traditional QB

I wish I could rep the post I saw that hit the nail on the head... Elway has got to be baffled that he came out of college as an unconventional type player, and everyone hated him. Now, Tebow can do no wrong.

And yes, Reeves and the NFL style in the 80's held Elway back. Now it's a passing league, so it only makes sense that Teeb's numbers are better than early Elway.

It's probably the allotted digits, but still. Broncbow is really getting on my nerves wit his football ignorance. Oh well, it's just an internet forum.

What are you talking about, damn near everyone hated/still hates Tebow for one reason or another.

Also, Elway threw the ball more I believe in his early days compared to what Fox has had Tebow do.

But regardless, I'm not about to get this going again. I'm happy that the team is winning and I'm glad Tebow got this train going again.(yes I know it's not all him)

Do I need to spell this out for you, or are you really that dumb? I find it hard to believe that anyone is that dumb, but with your case, it might be possible.

Tebow leads the league in jersey sales. Totally irrelevant teams (Jags) are chanting his name at home games. Yup, everybody hates him.
