After a massive road win against some misfortune and some uncharacteristically bad play from the D, your Denver Broncos now lead the AFC West.

Destiny is officially in their hands.

We were down to McCarthy at safety who's lone contribution was tripping over himself on his way to a backwards roll while Harvin blasted past him.

Hope Moore/Carter are back healthy next week. None of the injuries looked serious.

Great point. Most safeties would have made that easy open field tackle.

Moore isn't hurt, he was a healthy inactive. Which says a lot, unfortunately.

Raiders must be feeling the pressure.

Miami turned it around after we beat them.

I'm glad we kicked some life into the dolphins. Stomping the chiefs and then again today against the raiders? Thank you Miami!!

I want Denver to get Harvin somehow in the offseason. He can take the place of Royal.

I can't believe it. I was nearly in tears after the INT. The Raiders get hammered today, it's just crazy. The Broncos roll on and at this point I don't think anything is impossible for this team to accomplish the rest of the year.

At the end, i got all calm and said, we are going to win. And Harvin would be deadly in Denver. He's exactly the type of WR we need to compliment the bigger Thomas. Still we should look for more WR of all types. Royal today though played hurt, you could tell. Props to him for gutting it out and being tough. Sometimes it's games like today that make me like a player more. Royal didn't do anything, but it shows heart to play heart.

Also it bodes well for the team overall. WHen guys are playing hurt it gets infectious.

Denver is technically in first place because of a nice lead in tiebreakers.

Moore is a huge disappointment this year. It looks like safety may still be a big need going forward. Quinton Carter looks like he'll be good at least. Hopefully his injury isn't too big a deal.

Also am I the only one who thinks Chris Harris should be converted to FS?

On the NBC half time show Boomer just said, "And look who's on top of the AFC West." That was sweet to hear. Shannon did the recap of the game. Fun times.

Denver could really use a Harvin-esque playmaker on that side of the ball, no doubt. The Denver edge players scare no one.

...some uncharacteristically bad play from the D...

I think the D is getting more heat than they deserve. They spent the whole first half on the field. I just think they were gassed in the second half. Add in missing Von and some injuries during the game. Certainly weren't their best but they did score a TD, pick off 2 passes, and came through in the end.

Wow no Cutler, no Forte, tough breaks for Chicago this yr. Can't say I mind though because Cutler is an asshole.

D gave up some big plays being burnt blitzing. Miller not in the game hurt but Haggan made a huge play for a TD. Still you could see we didn't have the great double pressure because they could double doom.

49 plays to 18 in the first half I don't think I've ever seen that much and only 5 minutes of offense plusthe defense scored a TD to keep it to within 8. Should have been 5. It seemed like if the offense have done something in the first half this game would have not been as close.

They didn't let it get out of hand. I call that bending, and not breaking. We were close enough at the end for the offense to get the win.

Not so much the defense as a whole as much as Goodman. God was Goodamn woeful up until that late interception today.

We had some problems on defense but it's not like we are choked full of studs out there. They are playing great but we still need more talent.

Joe Mays makes some plays, but also was bouncing off Toby quite a bit. I think Broncos would be wise to look to MLB as a main target of the draft. Get a young athletic, big playmaker to put along side Miller.

Goodmans been playing pretty well considering how often we blitz.

Its been a revolving door at the RCB spot over the years. Playing opposite of Champ is not easy. I think the big plays Goodman has made this year FAR outshine the passes he has given up.

Everybody bounces off Toby. The dude's a ****ing tank. I was actually happy with most of the tackling. Gerhart brings it on every carry. He's not an easy man to bring down. Dawkins killed it today. He should get the defensive gameball. Champ had another of his "nobody-notices-I'm-shutting-down-my-side-of-the-field-again" kind of day. Goodman looked like hot buttered toast, but redeemed himself at the end. They keep hanging in there. Easy to see what a huge difference Von makes, though. If he's in there today, I think we win this going away.

The pressure on Ponder would have been way different if Miller was playing, different enough that the outcome of the game would have been a lopsided win vs a close game, imo.

And yes, week 11 we are the AFC west leading Denver Broncos!

i am not faulting the Defense on bad pla today. they were on the field wa too much in the 1st half and were probably pretty worn down by the start of the 2nd half. important thing is, they came up big when they had to.

They weren't gassed...they just couldnt get off the field on third down.

i agree 100%, however yesterdays first 3 quarters was almost worthy of sending him to the bench for the game.
