BTW, Tebow 10/15 for 202 yards and 2 TDs... (and a drop in there as well).

Vertical passing game to DT is a wrinkle teams around the league did not want to see. We get DT going and teams can't put 8 in the box without paying.

Congrats Tebow, DT, and McGahee, we won this game b/c of you!!!

Finally seeing DT play up to his potential is a very good sign for this offense. Decker and DT could be a nice combo if they both max their potential. Still need more receivers to run the offense we should be running with Tebow, but it's exciting all the same.

Awesome performance by Tebow today, Vikings D might suck ass but he had some beautys today.

Hats of to DT today also, shame he couldn't bring that final one in, would've been a great way to end the game.

Another good game from Willis and the defense stepped up when they needed to (pretty much the reverse of the rest of the season).

Another great win, **** the refs and **** the Raiders.

DT is key. If he gets going with his speed and size it opens up the vertical game and allows Decker to play in a way that is more suited to his skill set. Plus you can always flip the routes as Decker has shown a knack for getting a step on defenses as well. Nothing but good things to come if DT stays as healthy as he looked today. Man amongst boys good today!

This game showed us how important Von Miller is to our D.

Hell ya.. he is THE glue that holds the defense together. The added pressure he brings is huge. He is out, and the rookie gets a career day.. almost 400 yards passing on us. Thankfully he also made some stupid mistakes. And Tebow does not make those mistakes.. a huge plus.

He should be back next week.. we really need him against Chicago and Pats. Cutler.. I hope he gets a day against him, like he did against Sanchez.

He threw when the OC thought we had to, and Tebow delivered, he responded, he put the ball on the money.

True. I don't think his coaching staff is doing him any favors. Even with a healthy AP they would just put him in bad spots, but it appears his development is about the only thing they have going for them right now so let it ride I guess

A part of me tends to agree, but then who though the Broncos could do what they've done since Tebow became the starter? Right now, if I'm an opposing coach I want nothing to do with Denver in the playoffs. Tebow is scary as **** in close games, and today he showed that if he gets the chance he can keep it close with his arm.

Playoff freezing cold outdoor games = low scoring games. We run it well and play good defense...most of the time. We are a threat.

Have the tiebreaker on OAK as well. 2 games up in the conference record. If we beat KC and OAK can only ties us for division record

Conf record is not one of the tiebreakers for two teams in the same division. First is head to head (we split), second is division record (we are 3-2, they are 2-2), next is record against common opponents. We are currently 5-3, and they are 4-4. If we beat K.C. we should be good on the tiebreakers.

I'm thinking going 2-2 over the next 4 with one of the wins being against K.C. gets us the division. Don't see Oakland going 3-1 with games @GB and @KC. They also have SD and Detroit at home

Just take care of business next week vs. Chicago without Cutler and possibly Forte

Conf record is not one of the tiebreakers for two teams in the same division. First is head to head (we split), second is division record (we are 3-2, they are 2-2), next is record against common opponents. We are currently 5-3, and they are 4-4. If we beat K.C. we should be good on the tiebreakers.

A couple nuggets of awesomeness.

Seeing Elway snap out of robot mode and slap Kuper on the ass like he was still playing QB was AWESOME!

That douche bag Cowher was going on about how he liked the fade to win the division still. Sharpe wouldn't have any of it. Shannon was all smiles and says 'I like the Broncos and their in the kat bird seat.' Marino then backed up Shannon

Denver can make a run this year.

Perfect scenario-Bengals at home
Ravens on the Road
Pitt at Home.

How do you figure that, it looks like we are winning the division so it would be:

Pitt at Home
Patriots on the Road
Packers in the Super Bowl

You think Elway and Co learned today the offense is going to be fine, and that the D needs more players? Without Vonn and his pressure, the D is totally vulnerable. Quit with the OB envy and draft another corner, a mean LB, and a complimentary DT to roll with Bunkley, Thomas and McBean.

Sure it is. It's pathetically childish. "Hater?" What does that even mean among adults on a football message board? I "hate" Tebow? That's just silly. Did I doubt Tebow? Yes. Did I not like using three picks to get him in the draft? Yes. Do I dislike the overt religiosity? Yes. Have I always posted on here that I admired his effort and attitude? Yes. Am I impressed with his progress? Yes. Do I think he's the long term answer at QB for the Broncos? I didn't think so, but now I'm beginning to wonder.

"Hater" has got nothing to do with it and is just a childish taunt.

I think it's the amount of yards given up that was bothering people.

That and their inability to stop Ponder and Harvin in the second half. Minus the last defensive possession and Goodmans Pick the Defense did very little the second half. But that and the first half was enough.

The Offense did thir job and contributed as much to this win as any part of the team.

Good special teams play, Good offensive play and Good enough defense without our best defensive player ( ok...I said it...Von Miller is our defenses MVP).

I think Fox said it best, that each game takes on its own personality. I don't think anyone thought these teams would put up almost 70 points. The defense played great in the first half and then both offenses just started to click. It happens. In the end, all that matters is the D stepped up and got the job done.

I'm not sure whether it matters at this point. This is a PR game...where the PR game goes, everything else follows. Right now, Tebow is holding all the cards. The FO simply lacks the political capital to replace him. We're 5-1 with him as a starter and he is rapidly improving as a passer and is mega clutch. Elway is boxed into a corner. It's irrelevant what he believes. Unless there is a huge collapse at the end of the year, he has no choice whatsoever.

6-1, not 5-1.

6-1 with Tebow
1-4 with Pocket Sloth

7-5 overall.

or another way to look at it,

we were 1-3 during the first 1/4 of the season.
we were 2-2 during the second 1/4 of the season.
we were 4-0 during the third 1/4 of the season.
we have 1/4 remaining.

do you see a pattern? the sort of pattern you expect from a team on a quest for the playoffs??

I understand what you mean but will they do everything they can to build this team to support a better running attack or will they slowly, cautiously, work towards a more typical offense. Playing the PR game doesn't necessarily mean 100% buy in when it comes to coaches, free agents and the draft.

For example, I'm sure another QB makes the team next year. What type of QB will he be...Pocket Passer or Tebow-like?

Good thing about your religious hatred of Tebow that it has ZERO effect on the Denver Broncos.

Tebow has no idea you don't like him Leo. You getting worked up about him is all on you. Tebow is making millions, loving life and winning. Power to the kid! I could care less if his savior was Allah, Jesus, or the curb in the parking lot. The Broncos are an entertainment BUSINESS. The players get paid to do a job. Their job is to win and of course follow the rules of society and the league. So far Tebow is doing that.
