Per ESPN...more good news. They are pretty beaten up too.

Fred Jackson is out for Buffalo as well, the offensive line for San Diego, Matt Cassel and Jamaal Charles for Kansas City, Adrian Peterson for the Vikings, Jay Cutler for Chicago - Tom Brady better be careful.

You know...the last few years I have seen other teams go on runs (Jets, Saints, Packers) and thought to myself why does that never happen here. And now it is. And inside, I am freaking out a little. My brother said to me the other day that when Denver was having horrible games with Orton, I wouldnt yell or get upset. Now, I freak out about noncalls and yell at the TV during commercials. Apparently, my fanhood has grown back and I did not even notice.

Strange.

A friend of mine said something great during that first San Diego game.

"Tebow came in, and by the 4th quarter, i went from laying down on the couch to sitting on the couch"

Bill Williamson has an update on him and Miller.

Mipler practiced for the first time today and is a gametime decision. McClain hasn't practiced this week and Willuamson would be surprised to see him play.

Apparently his lawyer has already worked it all out and concluded he is innocent.....

I want to see us play against pretty full strength teams to see our true progress not hope for just cupcake teams. Makes us look alot better then we truly are.

The funny thing about this, is when you look at how the teams that we've beaten on this run have performed after we beat them, they're not cupcakes at all. Miami went on a run after we came back and beat them. The Raiders have also been winning since we steamrolled them in the 2nd half. Even the Chiefs gave the Steelers all they could handle and we had to face the better QB (before Von ended his season).

I really don't give a ****. I want to see Denver get to the playoffs. If we get there we will be able to see how we truly stack up against at least one good team.

Same thing here.

My wife left to go shopping during the Miami game when she left I was on the couch just watching the game. By the time she got home I was running around screaming etc. it feels good to be involved in the game again.

There's a twitter saying Klis thinks Miller won't play this week. He's listed as questionable. I hope he does.

Toby Gerhart has looked so so bad. Ponder honestly might be the biggest run threat for our D to worry about - he's been pretty mobile and made some plays with his legs against Oakland.

Actually, this is a game that we should be OK w/o him. I would prefer that the coaching staff not take any unneeded chances. With no AP, a rookie QB, and questionable coaching in Minn., the Broncos should win this game anyway, maybe easily.

We may or maynot need Miller for the Bears, however we absolutely need him for the NE game where a pash rush from the front 4 is essential.

I get what you're saying, but wouldn't you rather win games and get to the playoffs while looking better than you are than lose and look as good as you are? I mean, it's not like how good the team is might actually be improved by winning or anything...

Every victory also knocks us further from drafting a QB high in the draft.

I dont think this defense ticks without Von, period

I'd be really nervous to see this defense without Von Miller.

Does Vegas know something (and I doubt it)? But this is the first week of the Tebow era the broncos are being talked about like they're the favorites but Vegas still has Vikings favored by 1.5

Don't worry brother we got the Pats. Also I don't mind some breaks that get us to a game in the playoffs that would truly test the team. We started 1-4 so we sort of need some help.

We are playing a 2-9 Vikings team, for gosh sake. Have a seat Von, get that hand healed up, and we'll see how it's looking/moving next week.

If we can't beat the Vikings without you, we don't deserve to make the playoffs. Heal up bro.

I'd say if he can dress he should, but only go in if needed. Scratching him before the game should be avoided.

...

This will be a huge loss to the Vikings offense. Now, if Miami will just cooperate and hang one on the Raiders this could be a very interesting weekend.

I watched that game and agree whole heartedly with your analysis. If he doesn't get hurt, Vikings win that game easily. The entire game changed for the worse the moment his ankle gets twisted.

BTW, it's AP.

Apparently his nickname is All Day.

You really think someone would misspell Peterson with a D? Twice?

Load of macho BS. You've got 16 games in the NFL to get to the playoffs. I wish we could play every team at half strength.

And the "looking better than we are" mantra is pretty much BS too. If our coaches can't evaluate talent while executing such simple formulae as "except the D line was going against a Peterson-less Vikings team", then they shouldn't be coaches in the first place.

Injuries: I don't root for them, but I'm thankful for them.
