Wouldn't really matter if he was playing here or somewhere else. As long as Tebow is in the NFL, you better get use to it, or find something else to watch.

I thought about it when watching the play live but if they add a fake toss to Eddie Royal on that play that is similar to a WR end around (instead of tossing it which they have done twice now), Tebow and McGahee will end up with either a two on one or two on two match up... Either way, it is a big gainer! Almost like a counter play where you have all of the offense blocking right and all of the keys for the defense lead them to their left. With so many players depending on reads and keys, this is a wrinkle that could bring huge results.

And I agree with Lombardi whole heartedly. Continue to build your team as you sat out to originally... Defense! If a QB happens to be available when you pick (RGIII) then pull the trigger. Either way, Tebow is going to have a large role on this team for the next few years. May be a package role if they see a traditional QB they like, but it appears the team has learned that the Tebow Read can be pretty damn effective.

I agree, he's a breath of fresh air to a sport that has been known more for it's players off field transgressions. He's a great guy...aznd if he wins the SB, I think i'd have mixed emotions, glad the Broncos won it all...but saddened that we'd be flooded with many more psuedo-fans that only watch the game when he's playing QB, and go back to doing other **** when the defense is on the field.

And yes the ladies do love him...a girl on facebook posted his picture, and i made a few Tebow jokes (the old Chuck norris ones of course) and she kept them all up save for the one where i said "I use to wish i could be a really good NFL QB...now I just wish Tebow could"...it was promptly deleted.

while I'm not enamored with all the psuedo-fans we've netted since he's been on our team, i will say that if some young child sees the guy playing, or hears an interview of him and starts being a fan, or is inspired, then that's truly a great thing.

For all the **** he gets from those that hate him for whatever reason, and even the crap he catches from the majority of us who just think he needs to step up his ability to throw the ball, he's been nothing but a stand up guy...and that speaks volumes of his character

Just as I've said, Tebow is teaching McCoy how the Read/Option plays work, not the other way around,
and Fox has zero to do with it except as the HBC giving his okay to run some of it.
Somehow that makes Fox a CoY coaching genius for the Bronco's W/L turn-around.... :bandwagon

Fox/Orton = 1-4 with Pro Bowl WR Lloyd and 1st Rnd RB Moreno.
Tebow/McCoy = 5-1, even without Pro Bowl WR Lloyd or 1st Rnd RB Moreno.
* The Bronco/Tebow/McGahee/Ball combo are now #1 in the NFL in rushing yards. :notworthy

Anyone who has watched Tebow's pass completions, both short and long, both inside and outside, KNOWS
that Tim can make ALL of the throws, at least part of the time.
What Tim needs to become a more effective NFL passer is better surrounding talent and a little more time,
just like any other new NFL QB has needed.
Tim has already done better early, (with little help) than the big guns did in their first 9 NFL starts.

That's why my 1st or 2nd 2012 draft pick would be WR Justin Blackmon OkSt.
Do that, and in 2012 watch the Decker/Royal/Blackmon combo eat up NFL pass defenses, just like Tim did while at UF.

In 2010 in his 3 end of season cold starts, Tim threw the ball pretty well, all things considered.

The Tebow/Lloyd combo: 21 comp's (7 per/gm ave) for 395 yds, 18.8 yds/comp with 3 TD's, 1 TD per 7 receptions.

Tim was better with Pro Bowl WR Lloyd in those 3 cold start games, than Orton was in their first 13 games.
All stats averaged out the same except for the yds/rec, Orton's was 18.3 yds/comp. to Tebow's 18.8 yds.

Tim has proven throughout his entire football career that he can learn and operate any offensive plays
that his coaches can teach, IF given the proper surrounding talent.
If you doubt that, then go review the 2009/10 Sugar Bowl game and Tim's Sugar Bowl & BCS Record Passing stats in it.

They (media morons & idiot commentators) have been WRONG about so many things concerning Tebow,
and they are still WRONG about his ability to throw the ball 'EFFECTIVELY' when he
has talent to throw to and an OL to stand behind.
A BIG part of 'effective' is the TD to Turnover margin. Not passing yards, but TD's
without giving the other team the easy T-O opportunities to score against a tired/worn-out defense.

Tebow's Bronco success will depend more on the abilities (or the lack thereof) of Elway/Fox/McCoy's smarts
and their decision making, than it ever will on Tim's ability to throw the ball effectively.
Build a TEAM around this leader/winner and you'll reap the rewards of good decision making. :sunshine:

Now and as always,,,, JMOHO's

I have no problems with new fans joining the ranks. The more Broncos fans there are, the more exposure the franchise has nationwide which means more money to spend on players and more coverage for us purists.

Its like being at a party. You don't want to control what everyone's talking about...you mingle with everyone and let the conversation go where it goes. You may not have much to talk about with the new Broncos fans, but do you want to begrudge them for showing up to the party? Nah. Let them in. The room is bigger than we'd ever need.

Absolutely.

Its good for guys like Taco John too who run businesses on the periphery of Broncosworld.

There's nothing but good that can come from Tebow's success as a Bronco. Seriously, its the best thing that could ever happen to the franchise. While Elway was possibly the GOAT, he wasn't a superstar. Tebow is a superstar. If he has continued success, he'll be easily the most popular player in the NFL.

Elway was largely hemmed in by being in the Denver market. Tebow exceeds the market to the point that he is the major story in the NFL this year.

Tebow isn't just popular here...turn on ESPN and you'll see a story about Tebow in there eventually. Tebow is the biggest story in American sports right now. Articles about Tebow get 5000 comments on ESPN.com. Its a media phenomenon.

Denver used to be a niche sports market. Its typical for Broncos fans to get miffed about a deserving player getting slighted in some way by the media. Thats because nobody in the media has to watch Broncos games. We're not having that problem this year. Von Miller almost has ROY wrapped up. In another situation, we'd see the SF guy getting all the media attention. But the Tebow thing has people watching and noticing that he's a dominant player. Heck, I posted a thread about Von Miller as DPOY awhile back. It didn't take the national media long at all to begin saying the same thing. Why? Because they are watching Broncos games just like I am and are being exposed to enough of the context of the story of what is happening in Denver that they are coming to some of the same conclusions that a Broncos fan comes to.

Tebow is nothing but a good thing.

Perfect storm is brewing....New ownership & coaching staff, should be drafting top 5, Elway's pocket passer who has been running a pro style offense since he was a freshman still on the board, etc.
