I thought only Vaughn got hurt. We cut a player or two are out on IR?

ST replacements for Vaughn, I guess. That hurts losing him.

Mohamed was god awful in the preseason, while McCarthy showed some flashes. Guess the teams sniffing around Weber was just a rumor.

Ok, i assumed Weber was coming off of the Practice Squad.

I like that McCarthy kid. Thought he played well when given the opportunity in the preseason.

Mccarthy started strongly in preseason. I could see him being a big ST contributor.

Its always better to bring a player up from your practice squad then bringing in someone from another squad, they are already familiar with the system. Mohamed was not all that bad...

I was sad to see McCarthy cut, glad to see him back. He had some great hits in preseason. I think he could turn into a real monster. I don't get the Mohamed signing at all.

He was not bad. He was godawful terrible.

Watching him try to cover was like watching a bulldog trying to hump a giraffe.

McCarthy made some decent plays in preseason, then kind of had a bad fourth game and was sent to the practice squad. I hope he's made some progress and can help on special teams.

Both should help us out on special teams.

My concern with losing Vaughn...is that Wilhite is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that Mohamed is on the active roster, doesn't that mean that all rookies have now made the team, correct? Or am I missing someone?

Anyway, point is, this was a hugely successful draft, and not just because of Von Miller. Orlando Franklin is a solid day-one starter, Q. Carter is now starting and getting better each game, R. Moore provides depth and will eventually start in the near future, and the rest are playing lights-out on ST's.

So my hats off to EFX, they did a superb job last April.

Jeremy Beal is on the PS I think.

I think we really hit with Miller, Franklin and Carter.

I think J. Thomas will eventually be a solid starter.

I really hope Nate Irving and Rahim Moore start to show us something... could just be rooks being rooks, but they haven't impressed.

This, glad to see him back. I thought he did enough to make the team during preseason. I hope he proves himself these last 5 games.

what i am curious about with Carter and Moore is what positions they will play. at first we all assumed Moore would be out FS paired with Dawk and that Carter would sit a year or 2 as a backup to Dawk and become our SS, but now we have Carter as our FS and Moore on the bench. will the assumed roles remain the same for them once Dawk retires, or will they be changed up since Carter is starting to turn into a pretty damn good Safety on the field

Didn't Moore play some CB in high school and college? He could be an option at CB down the road.
