I absolutely love the physicality that he coaches. The D has a major swagger right now.

Well said.

We've had a nice talent infusion to help him out, too.

Let's get him 2 more talented starters next year and revive the orange crush!

unsung hero on the defense right now...Bunkley.

dude is playing hard right now, and looks to be reviving his career. i truly hope we sign him long term after this season. and then get him some more help.

we need another infusion of talent both in the draft and through FA. but man alive he's done a wonderful job. hopefully the Broncos will eventually be as feared as the Steelers,Ravens and older Bucs teams on D.

I have owned that comic book since I was 6 years old... was thinking about putting it up as my avatar, but you beat me to it!

Dammit... keep it on the DL. I don't want this guy getting head coaching offers this offseason.

Stud DT and ILB... I'll be happy.

Shame Nate Irving really hasn't shown up like so many of us hoped for.

We'll need some youth at CB, too.

Hopefully not in the first round though. We can make a bigger splash at other positions in the first, IMO. Plus, supposedly a good FA crop of CBs next season.

I've been tempted to scan it so others could read it. The pictures of the dog pound are hilarious.

It's going to be tough to keep him, as teams will want him for a head job... Gotta hope he likes working with the assembled cast, and gotta give him some say in drafting and fa pickups.

My dream? Fox coaches us another 5 years or so, then retires with a SB or two under his belt, and turns the team over to Allen. Not so far-fetched.

allen will probably be a DC next year here as well, i dont think hell get HC opportunities after his first year on the coordinator job. atleast i hope not.

I don't think we need to worry about a HC offer, he's done as well as anybody could have hoped for but it's still only 1 year.

I'd be very surprised if he was in demand as a HC after only one year as a coordinator. Very surprised.

There are plenty of candidates with far better resumes out there right now. I can't imagine anyone hiring Allen as a HC. Not based on one season as a DC.

I think he'll be available for another 2 years. If he has continued success, he'd then be in high demand for a Head Coaching gig.

It should be nice to have some continuity on that side of the ball.

this will be champs first DC for consecutive years as a bronco, right?

Man, I hope you're right. The difference between the last 5 years and this year is immense.

Two more years might be pushing it. If we have another defensive year like this in '12, he'll be gone.

Yeah, but there's more $$$$$$$$$$$$$ in the head job than our broke, gutless drunk of an owner will pay for an assistant.

He's sufficiently under the radar, and that's the way it should be. The media is focused on Tebow, so Dennis Allen is not a household name. I would be VERY shocked, if any team has him on their wish list...

If we make the playoffs he will start to show up on EVERYONES radar next year. The coaching staffs around the league KNOW what the Defense is doing and they also know how far the D has come in a short time with Allen running it.

In his defense, I was furious about them giving up that 91 yard drive and said they all were weak from HIV and blah blah blah. Ha!

Fox picked a good DC. Been a long time since the D was this smooth and effective. I hope it continues with Elway, a badass defense (and ST's) keeps you in the hunt year after year.

Another coach who deserves to be called out is Jeff Rodgers. I think this is the best STs play I've ever seen on a Broncos team. I remember constantly complaining about it all during Shanahan's tenure as he never really gave a **** about STs. Obviously, with the field position game that Fox loves, STs has become a priority on the Broncos.

I hope Dennis Allen is the successor to Fox. Guy is an innovator, and he seems to have this defense on track to do great things. Xanders and Elway better load up that side of the ball with some serious talent and let Allen work his magic.
