Denver boxer Ron Lyle has passed away at age 70. Read about it here:

I recently saw an interview with Ron Lyle and I thought he was in great shape, much better than Ali and other boxers of his era. The whole city was behind Lyle as he fought his way up the heavyweight ladder in the early 70's. His fights just as big of news as the broncos and nuggets in those days.

RIP Ron

Thought for a second that Rob Lytle died and another 1977 SB member has passed away. As for the boxer, before my time but RIP.

Rob Lytle passed away, too, earlier this year.

RIP. He was a great boxer in an era where the heavyweight division was probably at it's absolute pinnacle.

That conspiracy will be exposed in MHGaffney's upcoming graphic novel.
