I was looking forward to the first Tebow/Cutler face off.

Weird because he finished the game, said nothing is the postgame interview, now it's breaking his thumb is broke. Strange IMO.

Devastating for the Bears. Not too many qbs as good as Cutler is at sliding around in pocket or throwing off back foot in the face of a rush.

The new QB may get sacked like Cutler was earlier in yr.

Raiders still have to play Detroit and Green Bay. I doubt they win either of those games.

time to bump that old thread?

What can we get for Orton to the Bears right now? Bowlen saves some money and we get a decent draft pick.

LOL. There is something very wrong with that name.

Who the hell names their kid "Caleb"?

And who the hell *keeps* the last name "Hanie"?

The trading deadline has passed, but isn't Brett Favre still available? This might be a perfect fit for him.

Sounds to me like he realized just what punishment he was going to get from Von Doom, and had Urlacher break it for him so he wouldn't suffer.

Or he left it in his ass when he sat down.

Look out, here comes the frown. :(

Jay Cutler = Jeff George

Ronnie Lott cut off much of his finger so he didn't have to miss a game. just sayin'.

And the butt hurt continues. Despite the fact that Jay was right and McDaniels was a total tool that set this franchise back for a half decade or more. Really, you should continue to hate on a kid that has accomplished more in his early twenties than you will your entire life.

I find this statement to be a little funny. Because he makes millions to play a sport he has some how accomplished more than any of us on this board? Has Jay been to Iraq? Afghanistan? Korea? Nope!

What makes you think just making the pros is more of an accomplishment then say becoming a great teacher or anything else for that matter.

Cutler hasn't accomplished more, he's just in a higher profile job.

There are far more good teachers than good NFL QBs. One is accomplishing something that is much, much harder.

Don't worry McFans, Cutler will continue making you look retarded for a long time.

I think finishing an NFL game with a busted thumb kinda blows up the "He's soft!" argument. It sucks for Jay and the Chicago Bears; he had a very good second quarter of this year and it looked like they were on the right track.

How is Denver better off playing J. Culter than his backup (Caleb Hanie)? Care to explain?

I know you were in the same camp as go-broncos and never saw the annoyance that he brought to the Mane. He made your posts actually likable compared to him. So, learn from that experience and stop repeating the same bull**** over an over. If we want to hear repeat and rinse, we would take MacGruder and Alpha Seirra off of ignore. Here is a scoop for you. Many, like myself, don't like Cutler and McDaniels. Stop being a douche as you have been known to be. You actually had a decent run of a decent poster. Find that again and bring it back. Drop the McFan bull**** as only a few posters still believe McDaniels was a bright spot in this organization.

You are one ****ing moron. You hate Shanahan if he made just one "bad" move? Is that your stance? So you can hate someone's decisions 95% of the time but that 5% makes you a follower of that coach forever? You are one ****ing dumbass. Here is some news for you. I was probably the only Broncos fan here that would put down Cutler (mainly for his attitude and throwing picks) before we traded him. But I supported him and the Broncos during games because I am a Broncos fan first. Obviously in your ego filled world, if anyone doesn't like your QB, then he is a McFan. No, they are people that don't care for the QB. When we got rid of him, he had not accomplished anything but stats which were the same you complained about with Orton. Only difference is Orton actually accomplished something in the postseason. Only last year did Cutler finally come to his own until the NFC Championship game. Get a grip. I really thought there were egomaniacs worse than your OPINION. I might be wrong on that

Wow, you always take it one game at a time, but things are really shaping up for this team to make a run. What once looked like a bear of a schedule, suddenly looks a lot more manageable.

Minnesota is starting a rookie QB and AP is banged up.
Buffalo has turned back into Buffalo.
SD has major issues on both sides of the ball.
KC has major issues on both sides of the ball.

And now, Mopey Jay is banged up. Say what you want about Cutler, but overall he's really held up with that sieve of an offensive line. Now, you have Caleb Hanie starting behind that? Miller and Doom should have a field day.

Crazy as it sounds 9-7 or 10-6 is a real possibility. The only game that I think the team might get smoked is New England, but who knows?
