Incredible stuff...this will change the political landscape and could lead to a MASSIVE investigation and change in law.
This author has written an expose on "how politicians and their friends get rich off of insider stock tips, land deals, and cronyism that would send the rest of us to prison."
http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2011/11/13/peter-schweizer-s-new-book-blasts-congressional-corruption.html
This could be the book that shakes the foundation of the modern state of politics.
Included in the book are stories of how many politicians including Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, Spencer Bachus, and John Kerry use information about pending legislation and land deals to purchase stock or land in businesses or areas that would experience boosts in value due to the legislation that they passed...then they would sell them sometimes in the matter of a couple of days after a land deal or legislation came through and would bank the dividends...sometimes millions.
The light has just been turned on into the darkness of those back room deals.
Unfortunately they have rigged the game. They have legislated at some point in the past that they are immune to freedom of information act requests, so you can't really pin them down.

FYI, John Kerry is the richest person in the senate with an average net worth of 230+ million.
Nancy Pelosi has an average net worth of 100+ million.

Hell, this is what always happens. In every society that humans have ever created, it always stratifies along the same lines. Why? Because that is what our lizard brains are comfortable with. Watch a film on chimpanzee behavior. We're no different. We default to the stratified society. Until we overcome our own hardwiring, it will always be the case. Primates cling to the most powerful among them. The Alpha male gets to mate more often with more females. He, and his immediate clan, get the most resources. And he is the most successful at protecting his turf and securing the clan's resources. Align with him and your chance of survival goes way up. This fact has been programmed into us for millions of years.

While De Waal stops short of dubbing the bonobo the "make love, not war primate," he says undoubtedly "sex is the glue of bonobo society." Once called the "sex champion of the primate world," bonobos in captivity engage in sexual activity an average of every 90 minutes (wild bonobos are probably less active, he says). And a little sex goes a long way. It promotes sharing, negotiates favors, initiates females into the sisterhood and generally calms nerves.
Where neighboring chimp communities rarely interact except aggressively, neighboring bonobo communities forge friendships through sexual liaisons, initiated first by females to males and then by females to females (that often prefer each others' company to males').
"When two groups meet, there is a lot of noise by males and a high level of tension and hostility, but they don't attack like chimps," De Waal says. "Tension is soon overruled by sex and friendship. The scene ends with the females of different communities grooming each other and adolescents and children playing together."
Which apes are we supposed to be like?

Chimpanzees are so closely related to humans that they should properly be considered as members of the human family, according to new genetic research.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3042781.stm
The Detroit team says its work supports the idea that all living apes should occupy the higher taxonomic grouping Hominidae, and that three species be established under the Homo genus.
One would be Homo (Homo) sapiens, or humans; the second would be Homo (Pan) troglodytes, or common chimpanzees, and the third would be Homo (Pan) paniscus, or bonobos.

I'd rather **** than fight Ro~.... Besides, it's still a valid point. :)
Or, I we can go down the road and say that our microbial ancestors are hard wired for conflict - well beyond any mammalian/reptillian brain stem function. (considering that bacteria in your gut effect mood, hormones, etc...makes it interesting).
Fact is, there is evolution - competition with Japan in the WWII era, was different than competition with Japan in the 80's.

Yep.
This thing is obviously being organized by leftist groups.
It isn't any coincidence that the leftists here advocate it because it is a creation of far left ruckus groups and is being propagated by the media. At no point has it ever been as well attended, principled, organized, independent, or intelligent as the Tea Party.
The first thing the Tea Party went after was big spending Republicans...mainly GW Bush.
This OWS garbage has yet to show that its anything more than a prop of the left.

PROGRESSIVES aka "The Street" aka "The disenfranchised" aka "people without jobs" are not completely sold on OWS. If you look at any of these movements as soon as they build any size the devolve. The best way to destroy OWS is let it grow and rot from it's own internal stupidity. The funny thing is what Alkemical said is correct. There ARE two Americas.
The real problem we are facing is that one group gets in to create legislation to benefit America and the next group gets in and uses that same legislation to punish the other group thus negating the good the first created. How can you not see that?
Freddie and Fannie were created to HELP poor folk. It was later used to create predatory lending with victimized poor folks. Now we are throwing poor folks out on the street because we don't know what to do and we think that is fair?
If you want to start a revolution the Tea Party, OWS, and collective leaders within Ron Paul's campaign need to start talking to each other and broker a much smarter play for National acceptance.
Real Patriotism, not the store bought crap, is about ALL of us. The reason that "they" can easily play the populace is because of the oldest game in the book "Divide and conquer".

THIS!!!!
I'm trying to push people past the division of ideology (locally), and see the common ground.
I'm focused on results, not sitting in a tent. Occupation isn't physical anymore - it's virtual.

I know for myself, for a long time - it was only a way to pay rent. I didn't understand the larger picture relation to my small piece in the pie.
It also seems, intentionally "mysterious" at times....then you're told:
"Don't worry about it, we'll handle it".
I'm not making excuses, but just an observation that I've seen from my own limited experience.

Most people have no savings, no investment, no retirement plan, upside down mortgage, high credit card debt, and no clue about any of the basic economic indicators.
I think imagination is a powerful thing but be careful that your strengths do not become your weakness.

TEA Party groups are calling for Bachus to step down. Wonder if MoveOn or Occupy is gonna call for Pelosi to do the same. They'll likely go Debbie Wasserman-Schultz when she spoke of Anthony Weiner by saying he should be left alone.
