Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel left Arrowhead Stadium with a cast on his right hand. It may have been the last time he plays football there, or anywhere else, this season.

Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star passes along word from coach Todd Haley that Cassel has a “significant” hand injury, and that it “could” end his season.

Regardless of whether Cassel plays again this year, Haley said Monday that the injury will require surgery.

show a link because everywhere I read says it is feared he is lost for the year. Yet you speak in certainties.

I get your point but lets show a little dignity and not say he is lost for the year and going to IR when it isn't even determined yet.

Thats a nice quote, but I'm not sure that Churchill is advocating the thought police here.

No, but then again, I doubt anyone with half a brain would say that my calling something tacky is being thought police.

LOL I love it when we put players out. If you ever heard the inside of a locker room after a big win etc then you would know that pales to what players say. If you want tack go watch curling or something.

I agree with Killericon as far as the remark being tacky, but not being thought police. He stated his opinion about a statement. To come in and call him thought police is more police like in jumping down his throat then his original remark. Calling him thought police has the obvious intent of getting him to stop posting contrary or dissenting opinion. That's policing.

At any rate, as far as the injury itself, all sorts of inappropriate smarta$$ remarks spring to mind, but I will police myself and refrain from making the obvious masturbation jokes. ;D

Well he still had one good hand Miss I. Ok I will try it the PC. Wow too bad about Cassal, never want to see anyone injured. I hope he heals quickly and isn't in too much pain.

Hmmmmm let me let that sink in, re read it, and see if i can stomach not being tacky.

Nope can't do it. Screw Cassel I hope he has to wipe lefty all winter! Also the only good Chief, is one walking off the field unable to play football anymore that day. I can't wait to watch Miller hunt Sanchez Thursday. Putting him out would be epic! End NY yr and send their fans into a frenzy!

I agree, I hope he heals as well. I admit to a bit of blood lust in terms of enjoying the sacking of QBs and good tackles, but never wish permanent injury to anyone.

As for tacky, while I agree with Killer that it was tacky, I also know this board well enough now to realize um, any place that loves boob mojo this much probably isn't that worried about tacky. ;D

I was sort of being sarcastic. I actually love it when we put players out. I can't help it. Basically if your qb can't play you won't win much. If Broncos could put out every qb they face they would win the Superbowl every yr.

But I don't want to see any players lives ruined because of being injured. Not like being knocked out for a season ruins their chance at happiness. :) So I will say i would not like to see anyone paralyzed, brain mushed, or unable to walk and enjoy life. But if they can't score tds against the Broncos anymore I am not too upset.
