The allegations, which aired as part of a CBS 60 Minutes investigative report Sunday evening, are that Bachus traded stock options after being briefed by Treasury Department and Federal Reserve officials about the impending economic collapse. Bachus denies that he traded on any non-public information.

blaming wall street because politicians take their money is stupid also. They should be protesting every politician who isn't doing a good job until the resign. Pelosi, this clown, Boehner, Boxer, come to mind right away IMO. Send a message to these politicians.

In collusion, both parties are guilty. I see no reason back off the removal of corporate personhood and call for reform of campaign finance.

Huh, imagine that - dovetailed interests.

Kerry and Pelosi as well. That Schweizer book just moved to the top of my 'To Read' pile. As for Bachus, dude needs to walk away. And if after knowing this stuff, his constituents re-elect him, then they lose all license to complain about cronyism in this government.

TERM. LIMITS.

We have the power to get term limits instituted in congress and the senate. There is no reason not to get it done. Lets make it an issue.

Until republicans get fed up with republicans, dems get fed up with dems we will keep getting the same crap. Come election they scream abortion, taxes, war and we all go to bed like ****ing sheep. Meanwhile the real issue is they all are a bunch of self serving narcissists.

Ding! I don't know if it's because I became 'too' cynical, or what...but I used to be a Republican. Bought into the contract with America, and ended up with Buyers Remorse. Then I watched Bill Clinton sell NAFTA (which was a Bush I 'dream'). I watched Bush II further sell this country out, and now we have Obama. Continuing the same behaviour, only now - he has accomplished something.

The Corruption is Transparent.

Everyone can see the corruption. He who has the gold, makes the rules....right?
