1st of all, we need to find out how seriously McGahee and Moreno are injured.

But it will be interesting to see if Denver makes any moves.

Perhaps even promoting Jeremiah Johnson from the practice squad?

They have to bring on Johnson. I don't think both come back. Best case is Willis

Doesn't make any differenece. Any of them can break 1,000 in this system.

Yeah, actually it does make a difference. Because if Ball goes down, I don't think Spencer Larsen is going to get a 1000 yards.

Really, I am surprised at the lack of interest in what Denver is going to do with this RB situation.

Apparently Fox said in his postgame presser that McGahee could have come back into the game in an emergency. So that's fairly promising for Willis' status for Thursday.

As for Knowshon, everything I've read says he has a "mild" knee sprain, so it's tough to say exactly how long he could be out. I doubt we'll see him against the Jets, though.

So we could call up Johnson, but beyond that we might have to give Corell Buckhalter or LenDale White a call and see if they've been staying in shape.

Are you new? Is this your first year watching the Broncos? Because it has never, ever mattered who was running the ball in Denver. The O-line does all the work. Hell, we could probably sign Tiki Barber and have him run for 120.

Yeah, I'm worried about the backs as well.

Magahee runs hard and is a top tier RB

It's a big drop off from there to Ball...in my opinion.

Moreno is a nice 10 carry a game guy. Because he can give it all he has and not worry about burning out to quick. I think it shows. I actually think Johnson is faster than Moreno...which would be nice...if they do bring him up.

Having McGahee in this game would have made things tremendously different. We are going to need him against the Jets.

We need to use Moreno like Danny Woodhead with the Pats, only even more utilized.

He should be a 3rd down back slash slot WR who gets 10-15 touches a game.

Moreno might just have the best hands on our team right now. Tebow needs a guy who can catch like him.

Seriously.. What did he have like 52 yards on 4 carries? He also jumped over somebody which got me excited

huh??

Clady was back in the game and playig the next series after his injury.

I suppose he was fine.

I talked to a Broncos player today about practice squad RB Jeremiah Johnson. "He's GOOD." Depending on McGahee's status, maybe JJ comes up.

This.

Maybe not the solution for Thursday Night Football, but Hillis has no future in Cleveland. He belongs back here in Denver. Maybe we can trade away the pick we received for Brandon Lloyd.

You could tell he was wearing down at the end though. His legs came out from under him a couple of times. Hopefully we get Willis back, but with such a run heavy gameplan, we need 3 RB's suited up for sure!

Ball takes what the line gives him and no more. That's solid as a between the backles back-up, but he's not starter material.

McGahee takes whatever the line gives him plus a couple. If the line gives him nothing he'll grind forward for 2 or 3. If the line gives him 3 he'll get 5. That is what a starting between the tackles RB needs to do. Beat the first guy and add to what the line already gave him.

Moreno is a crap shoot. He runs wild and out of control. Sometimes the line gives him nothing and he gets 10, sometimes the line gives him 3 yards and he gets 1. He needs to learn discipline and patience.

Johnson in the pre-season looked very interesting. He's like a cannon ball blasting into the line. Bursts out quickly and hits his lane hard. Seems to pick lanes well too. That was all against second and third stringers though. It would be nice to see if he can do it against 1st stringers.

Actually, I think Crossfit and stationary bike both contributed to injuring Moreno more this year than past few years. I would say if you got one of those Man-ginas, sew it up.

He has his best games vs KFC, too bad he went out early he could have had another career game yesterday, only his third in his career but the real point is that we have him on the team, if only in the training room or on the Exercycle.
