We Are Ohio, the union-backed coalition fighting the law, poured at least $24 million into the campaign, while Building a Better Ohio, which supported the law, spent about $8 million.
Lee Saunders, secretary-treasurer of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, said unions would use their victory in Ohio “as a springboard to continue into 2012.”

The tea party and Republican groups backing the amendment say the Affordable Care Act was an overreach by the Obama administration and Congress.
They hope approval of the ballot issue will bar Ohio from instituting a state-mandated health insurance program like that of Massachusetts.
Opponents argued state law can't trump federal law and that the amendment's wording could unintentionally jeopardize state health programs.

After spending $30 million, the same voters that voted for union pension also voted down Obamacare. That how Dems come out ahead. LOL
