Does this mean it's no longer "en vogue" to hate him for asking to be traded? ???

I thought you were going to say that he'd make a good CB....

Congrats Eddie!

He posted on his FB page that that wasn't true.

It didn't seem to have much effect in even slowing down the "haterade" directed his way though.

I know you're being funny, but in a way, don't you pray that he runs back more punts for TD's?

I'm glad he's back to being a great asset. Really, Denver needs all phases of the game to improve and having a punt return threat is awesome. I'm always looking for something to break Cosby free for a nice return...I didn't expect to see Royal back there.

He did have surgery last spring...maybe now he's just getting back into shape?

I was more excited to see him actually be productive as a receiver again. We could really use him in that role.

LOL well I hope he does and cheer for him too but I don't pray for it. I don't pray for things I want for my self. I pray to know how best to serve. Corney I know but that's it.

Never understood the hate he got/gets either. We haven't had a QB that can consistently get him the ball since JC. He seems to run pretty good routes, has good speed and quickness.

He also rarely gets any separation. He doesn't seem to be open very often, and the last few weeks I've noticed him giving up on plays.

Agreed.

He had two good plays. While that has probably matched his production over the last two years, that doesn't ignore the fact that he's pretty much a non-factor most weeks.

He's the quickest draw out there when it comes to throwing up the fair catch sign.

+1 He's been missing for years on offense. It was nice to see him get a TD as a WR.

Really? So in your WR expertiese whats his problem? I am interested becauase in the last few weeks I've noticed a QB that doesn't know how to get rid of the football in a timeley manner, an Offensive line that is being asked to pick up more and more blitzes and a lot more 3 and outs.

I also hope that one day Jessica Alba shows up on my doorstep and all her clothes falls off, doesn't mean I am holding my breath, but a guy can hope.

I know you didn't ask me but I'm going to take a stab at this one. I think it is the fact that he drops balls that hit him in the hands. We could debate this one all day, but I think it is important that he stop doing that. Last week was a good step forward.

I am happy Royal made some big plays last week, but one game does not make up for 2+ years of very little. He needs to be a factor in every game, especially to warrant re-signing and getting big money.
