Cheney, in an appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday, criticized the media for the "feeding frenzy" she believes has accompanied the discovery of 1990s-era accusations against Cain, and suggested that the basis for the allegations was less than concrete.

"I think what we've heard now are a lot of accusations. Not a lot of facts," Cheney told CBS' Bob Schieffer. "Having been through campaigns at a very high level, I can tell you that facts are often one of the first casualties."

Well, duh!

We all know the righties will line up behind the GOP nominee - whoever he/she turns out to be - no matter what.

Cain could be in league with Satan, and the righties would have no problem looking the other way so long as he had that 'R' after his name.

Bush was all the evidence you need for this.

I'm going to have more faith in the American public. No way people are this stupid to fall for the Cains denials now.

One lady accusing. ok, I could buy it's a he said/she said....but FOUR?! B.S.

You can tell that Cain is worried because his adviser just came on CNN and played the Race card. The very card he's been saying he don't play.

Still no proof.

The lady today never filed charges, but now she wants to "come forward" after 14 years?

Sorry.

Next.

You underestimate the stupidity of the American right.

After all, these half-wits voted for Bush - twice.

AP Exclusive: Accuser filed complaint in next job

http://bredred.com/cain-accuser-has-history-of-filing-workplace-complaints/

Kraushaar said Tuesday she did not remember details about the complaint and did not remember asking for a payment, a promotion or a Harvard fellowship. Bennett, her lawyer, declined to discuss the case with the AP, saying he considered it confidential. Kraushaar left her job at the immigration service after dropping the complaint in 2003, and she went to work at the Treasury Department.

Details of the workplace complaint that Kraushaar made at the immigration service are relevant because they could offer insights into how she responded to conflicts at work. She now works as a spokeswoman in the office of the Treasury Department's inspector general for tax administration.

The guy that needs to go is Mark Block, his campaign manager. Dude is clearly in over his head here, as evidenced by Cain's less than stellar response, the incessant finger pointing at Perry, and Block's statement that one accuser's son works at Politico--which is incorrect.

Cain's ideas and his innocence or guilt aside, this campaign is looking more and more bush league in the face of the media onslaught and Block's his strategy adviser. When your campaign manager makes Ron Paul look buttoned down, it's time for a change.

Report: Cain Accuser Sharon Bialek Fired From NRA For False Accusations Of Sexual Assault

http://bredred.com/cain-accuser-may-have-been-fired-from-nra-for-false-accusations-of-sexual-harrassment/

One might be asking themselves why Ms. Bialek was fired from the National Restaurant Association. After all, being fired, quite unlike simply being laid off, is a serious issue with serious ramifications; since leaving the Restuarant Association, Ms. Bialek has been unable to maintain regular employment. So why was this woman let go? Why has it seemingly affected her ability to remain employed for so long?

Perhaps it might have something to do with the reason she was fired from the National Restaurant Association in the first place…

FILING FALSE CLAIMS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

“She was fired from her job, and her boyfriend suggested she contact Cain in hopes he could help her find employment.”.

In this particular incident she was fired for falsely accusing her boss of sexual harassment, a charge denied by co-workers, as well as being pretty much a pain in the ass to work with.

“I remember her as a time-waster, and rabble-rouser. If she didn’t get her way she cried about sexual harassment”. A former co-worker, a female no less, emailed me. “She was trouble with a capital “T”. The fact that she waited 13 years and never said a word not even during Cain’s earlier forays into politics. She only now magically appears because Cain is leading in some polls and proving a threat to Barack Obama?

Still too many people popping up, and true or not smear works. Just ask the swift boaters.

Cain is finished.

Now, Cain's smoking chief of staff steps in it some more with Hannity's prodding:

"At the press conference it was brought up that Karen Kraushaar had come out as one of the women, so we've come to find out that her son works at POLITICO, the organization that originally put this story out," Block said.

When Hannity asked if the information about Kraushaar's "son" was confirmed, Block said: "We've confirmed that he does indeed work at POLITICO and that's his mother, yes."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/1...n_1083427.html

Which is cool, except that the guy doesn't work at Politico, oh, and he's not even related to the woman. They just have the same last name. I guess this is the kind of in depth research we can expect from Cain? Look up a name and then go on Hannity and spew a bunch of accusations?

That's the kind of detail oriented crisis management you want out of a presidential chief of staff.

Not that I'm any fan of career politicians but I am baffled by people who want Cain becuase he is a businessman. A CEO can pretty much get whatever the hell he wants done in a company because he is the CEO and no one wants to get fired. You don't have that privilege as president and somehow the lower IQ members of this board and the country think that he can just go in and kick ass and take names. We've seen, especially with the current president, that if the other side wants to see you fail they can do a pretty good job of it. The presidents job isn't business, it's coalition building and noone in Congress has to join the team if they don't want to.

Cain is done.

Paul Craig Roberts nailed it in a recent op-ed in which he pointed out the shockingly fact that today US leaders can get away with genocide and ecocide -- but are vulnerable if they engage in sexual improprieties.

In other words -- bomb villages, murder innocent Muslims attending a funeral or wedding, spread depleted uranium poison over half the planet -- and no problem.

But put your hand on a woman's knee -- and you might be denied the presidency.

Just more evidence that we have reached the terminal end of US democracy.

The only chance left is to face the darkness squarely with courage -- and talk truth to power.
