Heard Palmer call this out several times in the game. Does anyone know what he was alerting to with regards to Von?

Most likely it was "Someone help me remove 58's foot from down my throat."

Isn't a spinner what you call a small woman?

It was the center, or possibly one of the guards if the Raiders got sandy vaginae about mics on their center.

Or, maybe the Raider's O-line isn't smart enough to recognize numbers.

"Whats a 58?"

"The one that's spinning around you, and harpooning me into the ground!"

I think it's the same as our "Mike" call.

I heard it to and wondered if anyone else heard it on the gameday thread.

I am sure Rev will come in with 3 youtubes of why I am wrong (LOL) but wasn't he calling out where Miller and DJ were lining up and if they were blitzing?

I heard him call out Spinner and Mike, the only thing is that a couple times he called it neither blitzed so I could use some more edufication on this also.

He would call either/or/both: 58's the spinner or 55's Mike. I figured he was telling the OL where DJ and Miller were at and if he thought they were blitzing.

I think it roughly translates to "hide your cornhole from 58."

Maybe it is like the 'Mike' call for the MLB, 'Spinner' could be his call for the SLB

Spinner is a hybrid position usually DL/LB... but sometimes LB/S (not in this case). Have to look at the film, but I'm assuming Von was lined up as LB, but Palmer was checking his line that he was the Spinner and to treat him like a Dlineman. Can go the other way to, that the Dlineman can line up, and drop back into a LB position.

In German, it means "A whale's vagina."

NFL Films had a mic on Carson Palmer, this was the sound every time he made that read:

Oh yeah! Better without pubes? Oh wait, that was in the Least Fav poster thread. As always, right on course.

Did you just start watching football this week? A ton of QB's use "GO" to start a play.

we used to say "omaha to go"

Maybe that was just orton and tebow shortened it to go.

I wonder if an Ace Venture type trick would work?
Instead of go he could say: and draw the other team offsides.

Despite only recording .5 sack on the stat sheet, I thought this was Von's best game as a pro so far. He was all over Palmer, and he was getting pressure up the middle as well as off the edge. He had been no.1 on the Pro Football Focus "Race for Rookie of the Year" all season, but was unseated by Cam Newton last week. This week Von took it back

http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/11/08/race-for-rookie-of-the-year-more-miller-time/

Another great write-up about Von from PFF:

What a surprise. Khaled Elsayed of Pro Football Focus is about to launch into a paragraph praising Von Miller (+6.5). Well what else am I suppose to do when he plays like this? Proving the naysayers wrong, Miller was more than just a pass rusher in this one as he twice badly beat Khalif Barnes to pick up one tackle for a loss and another for a short gain. Still his best came while rushing the passer where he took Carson Palmer down an incredible seven times! Thatís worthy of an exclamation mark even if one of them was an unnecessary roughness penalty and another was a sack called back for a hold in the secondary (though Miller registered pressure within 2.1 seconds). Essentially, Miller destroyed Khalif Barnes, and when Joe Barksdale was forced into the lineup at left guard, Miller was so quickly by Barksdale you needed to watch it in slow motion to make sure he was actually attempting to block him. This kid is special and I really canít say that enough.

They also gave Von the game ball over McGahee, Tebow, Champ, Elvis, etc.
