Today was a redemption game for the Broncos

Eddie Royal looking like 08 Royal with PR TD and Rec TD! Champ getting 2 picks. Dumervil getting 1.5 sacks, almost 300 yds rushing for the team. Today the Broncos made a statement to the Denver fans and that statement was that they will not quit they will never give up and they want to win this damn thing!

Now look at the division
4-4 Chargers
4-4 Oakland
4-4 Chiefs
3-5 Broncos

with that said I ask all my fellow Denver Broncos fans to
Please give this team a chance. Our broncos showed their heart today and they have given us hope so please support them more than you ever have in your life and just give them a chance.
Coaching Staff - John Fox is a real easy guy to bash for the community he has a reputation for being conservative and hes coming off a horrible season with Carolina. Lets give him a fair shot hes already a better head coach and leader of men than McDaniels was, you can tell by the locker room you can tell by the play on the field. McCoy has a tough task adjusting to a spread style option offense that can fit Tebow's strength hes never had a QB that did that this a unique situation, lets give him a chance to get the right calls in I thought today he called a great game with the exception of 1 or 2 calls. Dennis Allen he has been making some nice 3rd down calls he really has you can already see the improvement we have in the stats but just look at the play on the field his defense is playing hard for him and truthfully outside of the LB core and DE we aren't the most talented defense player wise I think its impressive what we are doing with the personnel we have and of the these 3 coaches Allen is easily doing the best job.

Tim Tebow -Such a polarizing figure at times you wanna puke from the amount of positive spin he got coming out of Florida to the crazy cult like Tebow fans around the world. There are also times where you get sick of people kicking the guy around knowing no other 2nd year QB w/ 6 starts under his belt would get this kind of treatment. Yeah he needs to seriously work on his passing game more but still its only his 6th NFL start he made some nice throws today and as long as he has that threat to run hes not a total lost cause and he can be worked with that spread option we had going with Tebow and McGahee had the Raiders looking stupid at times. When teams shut that down thats when you drop a pass in for a big play if they wanna keep giving him zero man coverage he will eventually beat it I have seen him do it a few times.

It might not be pretty with Tebow and when I say that I mean it you will see some ducks and rarely a spiral but still 11 TDs passing 7 TDs rushing w/ only 4 INTs in 6 games starting with the Broncos 2nd year in the league. Unconventional but worth playing out the season with him, and seeing if he can grow as a passer. Lets Get Behind Him. He is our QB this year.

The Front Office. - Lets give Elway & Xanders a chance I know Xanders doesn't have the greatest rep but we all know McDaniels ran most of everything here. Right now Von Miller over Dareus is looking like a homerun sure Dareus is a good player but I think Von might be a great player. The other rookies are developing slower than we hoped for some sure but Carter and Moore have been getting on field experience and making plays here and there. Thomas is improving his blocking and he hasn't been healthy to show us what he can do give him time hes not a finished product. How about the FA pick up in McGahee huh? What a FA steal hes gonna be here for awhile.

I beg of you lets unite as a fan base please please get fully behind the Broncos. Put your heart and soul into this team and make this a fun unforgettable season for yourself as a fan. Give Elway a chance, Give Fox a chance, Give McCoy a chance, Give Allen a chance, Give Xanders a chance, Give Tebow a chance!

The AFC West is horrible lets try to win this damn thing! We are going all in with Tebow, Fox, McCoy, and Allen. Trust these guys believe in these guys. This is the NFL where anything can happen.

Forget about the 2012 season focus on now, Forget about sucking for luck, forget about drafting a QB if we have to we will but that talk shouldn't come until we are officially done. We are 3-5 one game out of first place.

Lets rally behind our Denver Broncos and enjoy this roller coaster ride of a season and hope for the best because now we have hope!

LETS WIN THE WEST

ps: I never intend to make separate threads but I wanted to share my feelings with other Broncos fans across the OM Bronco Nation. honestly, in this division the fact that we are 3-5 and right now are the hottest team in the division is sad. but i'll take it. it is nice to not already be almost mathematically eliminated already. and in this division the 1st team with 9 wins gets the playoffs. San Diego is faltering, the wheels might be coming off in KC after that beat down today and with Oakland who knows. they still looked decent today but Palmer needs to be more careful with the ball.

I know its not the best thread in terms of structure but I put passion into this post and I want the fans to unite and get behind the team even if its just on the orange mane, we have too much negativity going on towards our own players, staff and other members of the organization. Hate the Raiders, Hate the Chiefs, Hate the Chargers, but don't hate the Broncos!

This might horrify some, but if Denver makes the playoffs by winning the AFC West...Tebow sticks around for the forseeable future.

I am ok with this future. As long as we win, of course.

Your "ps" is definitely an over-run sentence but thanks for the enthusiasm. I sort of threw up in my mouth like I do when I realize what jackasses Americans can be overseas but it was nice of you to say.

:Broncos:

As to the opening post...i agree. I've said many times I love the broncos, not anyone player. I'd have traded elway if it meant we would have won those 3 Super bowls we lost....having said that, I have mixed emotions about Tebow...like his work ethic, his character, his intangibles, his enthusiasm, his rah-rah leadership and his squeaky clean image...but hate that he's so consistently inconsistent....and his nuthugging legion of clowns like jhns, alpha sierra, and macgruber that make this site a tad unbearable at times.

If I see improvement in him from 1st start to end of season, i have no problem with the kid being our starter next season. i figure he'd have at least earned a shot at the job. He still has a long way to go in my opinion but he's 2-1 as our starter this season and that's the bottom line. I hate quoting al davis...but "Just win baby.."

Really wish we could keep the kid but get rid of his obnoxious Tebowmaniacs like jhns, arguementon, and the rest of their cronies that make rooting for Tebow a chore sometimes....especially when he does struggle. I noticed that when he drops back from under center he tends to turn his back completely to the line of scrimmage, and perhaps that might be why he tends to see things later than other QB's do....not sure, just saying.

Kind of like a DB with his back to the QB cannot defend the back shoulder pass, or see a scrambling QB running for 30 yards...But the kid played better this week than he did last and as long as he doesn't regress we hopefully will have the QB we hoped he'd turn out to be.

We're a game out with 8 to go...i like our chances if we continue to improve our running game, and our defense creates more turnovers...Doom looks like he's getting back to his '09 form and Miller will probably be DROY....secondary still concerns me, and Clady leading the league in holding calls is another major concern. Macgahee was definitely a good pick-up, and looks like Royal decided he better make a few plays as well if he wants to stay with us.

3-5 when alot of people figured we'd be 1-7 at best...it isn't what we want, but to be a game outta first with 8 to go is not too shabby.

Nothing makes a Broncos fan feel better than kicking the Raiders asses in their own house. My spark of hope is relit. Tebow got a bloody lip, the vets showed their stuff (especially Dawkins' display of guts), a young Oline showed they weren't going to take any **** from Seymour and Co, and the team came together in all three phases (mostly). Nowhere to go but up.

well this place is famous for fans hating on the team because of who our QB is, or who the head coach is, or OC is...why would you suprised at this revelation?

That's why i don't engage in hero worship like alot of fans do....

If the Broncos can win in KC this coming Sunday then they have a good chance of winning the AFCW. If McGahee can stay healthy and we can get the passing game going better (D. Thomas and Thomas the TE) then this team can score some points.

The defense is still mediocre and is susceptible to the big plays (especially running plays) so the offense is going to have to score points.

Special teams are ok but inconsistent.

Everyone needs to settle down a little bit. We aren't winning the West. This was a great week and an awesome win for a depressed fan base and deflated team, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still have a developing QB that misses his mark on about 60% of his throws, an offensive line that can't really pass protect and a secondary that belongs in a museum. This was a great baby step for this team and man it feels great to beat the Raiders. But we are still building and there is no possible way we are winning the West.

There sure are alot of 'Ifs' in the above statement. Just play it one game at a time.. the Broncos have to go 6-2 the rest of way to finish 9-7 to have a shot at winning the division much less make the playoffs.

At the end of this week the division will look something like this:

Chuggers 4-5 or 5-4
Faiders 4-5 or 5-4
Chefs 4-5 or 5-4

Broncos 4-5 or 3-6

Now that's parity (or it's a parody of an NFL division, whatever works for you).

Yeah, I can count too. Didn't realize the season was ending next weekend. The Chargers almost beat GB yesterday, Palmer is only going to get more comfortable, McFadden is going to come back, the Chiefs get to play in Arrowhead in December, and we still have a ton of holes to fill. Don't get ahead of yourself. This team is not winning the West.
