i guess we all instinctively know this already, but it was interesting to see at least one insider's reasoning for keeping this footage private,

Charley Casserly, a former general manager who was a member of the NFL's competition committee, says he voted against releasing All-22 footage because he worried that if fans had access, it would open players and teams up to a level of criticism far beyond the current hum of talk radio. Casserly believed fans would jump to conclusions after watching one or two games in the All 22, without knowing the full story.

I don't understand how that makes any sense at all.

I wish they would release it. I would pay to see it even.

I thought it was part of the NFL Rewind (not all the footage, but at least some of it)?

But instead they let shows like Playbook use a play or two to illustrate their point... Wow.

Cue MacGruder to somehow tie this conspiracy in with the NFL wanting Tebow to fail.

why wow? If the owners don't think it would make the product more marketable why would they release it? Certainly none of you feel entitled to it do you? Not saying i wouldn't like to see it, but I can understand business people thinking if it doesn't help our products then why make it available.

Why don't the fans just video tape this from the seats and make it available.. you could piece together what players were in each play from other footage.

Funny how you mock conspiracy theories while running a witch hunt.. LOL Typical NFL idiot..

NFL fans are too stupid to even realize they haven't been getting the whole picture the whole time..

"what... there's more footage.. dduuuhhh Beer me!"

Uh not true, you can't hide anything at the games because you can see whole field.

Dunno how to break this to you, MacGruder... but there are rules about cameras in NFL stadiums and you won't make it past security with a video camera. I know this because we happened to have a video camera with us the first time we went to a game in Denver... and we were forced to take it back to the car. They won't let still cameras with long lenses in either unless it's a professional photographer with press credentials.

All truth goes through three phases..

It could go through 50 phases, at the end it'd still come out with the truth that you are a complete and utter retard.

Exactly. It's not regulated by the FDA; it doesn't need to show you its ingredients. It's not like this is a food product where you can get sick from consuming something you're allergic to. You should feel lucky to get the info that is available to you. The NFL is an entertainment business; it has no obligation to any of you, outside of what's mandated to keep its antitrust exemption, and this falls way, way outside that boundary.

You only get it on a few "big" plays, and the quality is usually crap.

Don't care. In Denver, they wouldn't let us take our video camera into the stadium. That clip might have been taken with a Droid or iPhone... but they have rules regarding which cameras can be brought into the stadium and which ones can't.
