Says from advanced liver cancer. I would normally wait to see if they have a chance, but liver cancer, let alone advanced liver cancer is one of the worst.

My daughter said she just heard he died. RIP if true.

I wonder who would win between he and Ali today?

RIP if true. I'm surprised he has lived this long. Those boxers take in some serious brain damage.

Smokin Joe Frazier. Went through the heavyweight rankings with that left hook. He wasn't a boxer, he was a fighter. Relentless attacking kind of guy. Tebow's throws should look like Smokin Joe's left hook.

I had the pleasure of meeting him earlier this year and the guy could barely function on his own. Great career, cool life.

We're all dying. He's just closer to the finish line.

Well if the news is true: "Frazier went down, Frazier went down!" RIP to a great boxer.

I haven't seen any report stating that he passed away. He's close, but not there, yet...

RIP Smokin Joe.
His battles with Ali were about much more than boxing. I heard they put away their differences recently.

"Today is a sad yet remarkable day as we mourn the death of boxing legend Joe Frazier and honor him by celebrating his amazing accomplishments.

Frazier and Ali were quintessential the apex of pedigree fighting in which each man would not give an inch until they were dead.

Their era was competitive fighting at the highest level. As a young fighter it has always been an honor to be compared to Frasier.

My family and I are sending our sincerest condolences to the Joe Frazier family."

Apparently, Floyd Mayweather has offered to pay for the funeral. Classy move, if true.

RIP, "Smokin'" Joe.

Did Frazier die broke?

It's amazing how so many fighters lose all their money. What a brutal sport in so many ways.
