the Lions could be a feel-good story around the league if they had any brains. instead they are acting like jackholes with chips on their shoulders everywhere they go. the schadenfreude will be strong when they miss the playoffs.

oh, and F McD!

For the longest time, you didn't have to worry about the Lions. I know what you're saying. It sucks to live in the KC area in years that the Chiefs are doing well...:thumbsdow

What makes you think they will be in the playoffs, they are not going to win the division and no easy path to a wild card.

that number is misleading. Tebow had like 75 yards rushing. and while it technically counts as rushing yards, it isn't the same as having our RB run for almost 200. on a day when a RB rushes for almost 200 that means the opposition got gashed and beat up all day. when it is the QB who has a lot of rushing yards, usually it isn't a good thing.

Also, there were too many 2nd and 8 or so's. I want to watch more replay to see if I can tell whether they were disrespecting Tebow with 8 in the box. That was the death of SOB in Den.

I've just got the replay thing from nfl.com. I'll have a drink after work. The Saints played horrible too, and may have played themsleves out of the Dome for the playoffs ... even if they make them. But I want to confirm what I thought I saw this a.m.: He didn't suck as bad, but the lions D disrespected the pass knowing he couldn't make adjustments at the line

IT'S A START!!!! From Darren McFadden we got a base then... Look at Campbell's numbers? Not too great... With a good runnning game anything can happen!!

That's not true. We were leading the league last year, but McFadden was not the leading rusher because we would run for 200+ yards using EVERYONE... We still do this...

In his 5th start, spanning 2 years (3--2) with a lock-out off season in between.....

Orton's 8th year NFL very accurate cannon arm PER to date: 75.7 (8 TD's 7 Ints) -- Without Gaffney.
Tebow's inaccurate, weak armed PER to date: 75.1 (4 TD's 1 Int) -- Without Gaffney or Pro Bowl Lloyd.

Current NFL QB's TD to Int Ratio: (discounting the media morons and the biased idiot game commentators)

D.Brees --- on 343 passes, 19/10 = 1.90 to 1 -- 1 TD per 18.0 passes

C.McCoy --- on 286 passes, 9/5 = 1.80 to 1 -- 1 TD per 31.8 passes

>>> And 8 of the starting NFL QB's have thrown for more INT's, than TD's.
They all have a career in the NFL but Tebow doesn't ???

Tebow's Career Pass Stats: 76 of 158, 48.1%, 1,066 yds, 6.75 yds/comp, 9 TD, 4 Int, 78.7 PER. (rookie Elway 7 TD's, 14 ints, PER 54)
