Yeah, and it's a fantasy football article, but still a nice read that isn't about our QB (forget his name).

Also, I didn't realize this...
They've held the Bengals, Titans, Packers and Dolphins to less than 100 yards rushing and haven't allowed a rushing TD to a RB yet this year. (They've allowed four rushing scores, all to QBs.) That may not be sustainable, but it's not bad from a group that gave up an NFL-worst 26 rushing scores in '10 (21 to RBs).

I sorta do. Sure this team sucks, but I think Fox isn't given deserved credit for instilling the attitude of 'we're gonna run and stop the run.'

You see glimpses of quality with this defense. Everyone has praised Von (and rightly so), but Ayers has quietly had a really solid year. Bunkley surprised me with what he's shown. Champ is still a top 5 CB in the league and despite his recent benching Moore has shown real promise too.

The problem is D-line depth, a starting caliber NFL MLB and a quality 2nd CB. If Warren returns and plays close to form next year, Von Miller and Moore continue to develop, and this team drafts DT, SS, and MLB next year (depending on Irvin's development), this defense is going to be really solid next year.

Has played better than expected. But he still has some pretty glaring issues.

A lot of our defensive problems have also come from an offense that can't sustain drives. Though the lack of forced turnovers is also really killing our defense, and that's something they control (sort of).

A big part of this is the lack of play making ability in coverage at SS, MLB and CB. An instinctive 2nd CB that can jump routes and an MLB that can make plays in space would go a long way to forcing turnovers.

One interception six games into the season isn't cutting it.

We have 3 interceptions actually. But your point remains valid.

We couldn't convert a 3rd down until late in the 3rd. We got 1st downs well before that. But yes, our offense has sucked this year.
