I have never seen the Broncos get so much air time. Holy crap, I can't go 5 minutes on any sports channel w/o Tebow talk. It's kinda nice.

How long does this continue ?

Seriously, I noticed the same thing last night and then when I turned the tv on today, first thing was Tebow and the Broncos. SO many weeks of being a one minute or less segment in a hour broadcast. With the Lions playing pretty good ball this year, I hope we get to be viewed as one of the top notched games. With Tebow, there is always a highlight play that will get us top billing.

If Tebow keeps winning it will get crazier and crazier.

If Tebow starts losing it will be insane until he washes out of the league.

Basically, the media attention around him will be reidiculous as long as he plays in the NFL.

There are a lot of people who love Tebow and a lot of people who absolutely despise him. That's a large amount of people who care one way or the other. That means ratings and that means they'll keep covering him. Bowlen will make some money on this one.

I know the official maps don't come until Wed, but I was shocked to see it already listed! The nice thing about living in Tebow's hometown is that we should get a lot more Bronco games with him starting.

If Tebow becomes a regular playoff performer, he'll easily be the most popular athlete in the US. He'll have movie-star-level popularity.

He even draws in the soccer mom types and their kids. Thats unusual.

Prime example: I just heard Dana Perino talking about Tim Tebow on Fox News' "The Five"...apparently she's from Colorado and is a Broncos fan. She was all kinds of happy about Tebow, and she had just admitted that she doesnt know much about football.

Everyone on this site has complained for years about the media not treating the Broncos fairly. Now we have Tebow and the media coverage is insane. Truth is we hate all the national media (for the most part) and now have a chance to stick it where it hurts. The national media is literally upset Tebow is doing some good things and the better he gets, the more damage the Denver Broncos and more specifically Tim does to them. If we win the next couple of games guys like Hoge might get fired and put in a psych ward. I have never seen such passionate debate about an athlete as I have with Tim.

Which is what many around here believed this organization needed. Nobody would be talking about the Broncos if they had kept Orton as the starter, other than to make fun or talk about the 2012 draft. The fan base needed something to get excited about and to want to watch the games.

Exactly this for me. It's just becoming this loud annoying drone surrounding everything to do with the guy and the team at this point. I think it's awesome, but I'm inclined to observe it from afar.

I do really pity the Bronco fans who hate Tebow, though.

And the Broncos are in the opposite.

If the Broncos run off a string of wins and get to .500 or better...there will be some serious momentum behind this team. At that point the media attention would be beyond anything we have ever seen in Denver. It would be more intense than 1998 for sure, because even then the media tried to find other stories while the Broncos were dominating. IF the Broncos make a move for the division title...it will be crazy. EVERYBODY will be watching Broncos games.

I was talking to a friend at work today who is a Jets fan. First thing he says to me is "How 'bout Tebow?" I get home and people on the news in NY and here in Texas mentioned Tebow in completely unrelated non-sports segments.

If the Broncos become competitive and Tebow contributes to that, the Broncos will be Americas Team for the next 10 years. Thats kind of cool, because we have been so slighted in the past and it effects things like Hall of Fame inductions. Elway was a better player, but Tebow has this magnetic draw that even the haters have to watch. Its even more intense than LeBron James.

I think the players will like the attention that Tebow gets. It takes pressure off of them. Tebow is willing to absorb the pressure, and will promote the other players in public. Thats a good thing to have.

If I'm wearing a Broncos hat, I can't go to the grocery store or take my dogs for a walk in neighborhood without somebody saying something about Tebow. There were 5 fresh Tebow jerseys in the bar yesterday when I was watching the game, and 3 more pockets of Gator fans there to watch Tebow. And this is Charlotte, NC.

The last couple weeks have convinced me that if he ever gets good he will be the biggest star on the planet.

I work in a place where there are alot of visa transplants from other countries. When random Asian co-workers (a couple of whom can barely speak english) came up to me to talk about Tebow, I knew that this was something that had grown to immense proportions.

If Tebow has several good games this year, the Broncos FO are stuck with him whether they like it or not. Its pretty ironic because Elway did the same thing to the Broncos FO in the early 80's.

Well , we can expect that the media attention won't lessen next week.

Detroit needs a win to stay relevant and try to keep pace, and if by some chance we win next week the Tebow mania of the media will only get worse.

If we lose they will come back to earth a little bit, but its still going to be a huge topic if we play them close. A blowout loss will be the media haters expectation, and thye will use it to pay homage to their own brilliance, and Denvers stupidity.

We are heading into the real Meat of a tough schedule now, so If Tebow continues to play like yesterday the talk will turn to how long before Orton gets his job back, and why can't Fox see that Tebow can't ever play QB in the NFL?

If we win it will be Detroit is in a slump and Denver took advantage of it and Tebow didn't have to do much to beat them, as Fox called a brilliant game by running 52 times.

Frankly the best thing that can happen is we fall behind early enough that we get to see if Tebow can turn it on before the 2nd half , or 4th quarter, and Fox has to let him loose.

I want to see if he has any real prospects of playing or if he is a bad as he played for the first 56 minutes with that conservative game plan.

So I wonder if Flacco/ Ravens take any heat for their poor performance tonight.

The coolest thing about Tebowmania: it will get the Broncos on my TV set. ;D

Everyone wants to watch.

I could see the Lions jumping out to a lead and just trying to kill Tebow. Suh gets in the backfield and puts a dirty hit on Tebow, and from that point on the Broncos rally back into the game. I think that some of the defensive veteran guys really pull for Tebow.

Wow i finally watched a Hoge segment. He really hates the Broncos lol, and his disdain for Tebow goes way beyond how an analyst should ever be. It's like he's upset Tebow even getting a chance to win and play a different style of QB.

Hoge thinks Detroit going to feast on Tebow, we will see. He starts hitting some open WR, which you know he can, he's just not settled down yet. Prater stops missing FG, Broncos can make some teams nervous. They will have to change defense to account for Tebow. Broncos coaches will have to be smart and figure out how to identify who a teams spy will be, what formations will the send blitzes from etc. Dial up some plays that look like QB runs but turn into deep attempts down field. I really think moving the pocket a little more would be wise. Get the field cut in half for tebow.

Also Broncos going to have to find a few early down, non shot gun formation, that Tebow can complete a pass out off. Hard to move the pocket around unless your qb can do something from under center.

Tebow has the patented 12 step drop which opens up the middle of the field or leaves the hash open for a sprint out...I would be licking my chops if I were mccoy...now we have mobility in the pocket, time to extend the route, and decent long ball accuracy on the run...sounds like plummer (denvers 2nd or 3rd best qb) is back...and this kid has 4 starts. We have to be willing to accept mistakes as he learns so no mo brady quinn dillboards or orton coin flipping you guys...hot or cold...there is no room for th lukewarmdonk fan this season.
