View Full Version : Marshall: "I'll get ejected monday"

"I'm going to have fun on Monday Night Football," said Marshall, who went public at the start of training camp about having been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. "That's all I can say. I think the past four games have been tough for me trying to control some things and, hey man, I'm just going to let it out. I don't care if they have two or three cameras on me. I don't care if I have penalties. It doesn't matter. I'm going to let it all out.

"I don't care what you guys write. I don't care what the commentators say. I'm just going to play football. That's what I'm best at. That's when I play emotional. That's when I play with passion, and you guys will see that on Monday Night Football. So I don't know if it's throwing a football 15 yards in the bleachers and getting a 15-yarder or punting the ball and getting thrown out of the game. But something's going to happen. I'll probably get kicked out after the second quarter."

It was suggested to Marshall that he certainly must be joking about being ejected. He claimed he wasn't.

"No, I'm not joking," said Marshall, who has caught 22 balls this season for 313 yards. "I'm serious. If they want to fine me, it'll probably be like a $50,000 fine. But I'm going to play. That quarter and a half I'm out there, I'm going to play like a monster. I might get in a fight with (Jets linebacker) Bart Scott. (Jets defensive back Antonio) Cromartie, we pretty much matured our relationship and grew a little bit. We used to fight . . . If that happens, it happens. We'll see."

I actually remember saying "he'll be GONE within 2 years" in Shanny's last year ('08) ... damn, if only being a Bronco fan didn't make me drink so much, I might remember more! :alky:
Then there was that time I (unknowingly) told Scott Turner how much his dad Norv SUCKED, and how San Diego needed that 14-2 coach, Schottenheimer, back... :alky:

I wouldnt put him in if this is how he is going to play. Funny thing is that you start reading his quotes and expect them to come from a Linebacker. No, an offensive player and a wideout at that! He is going to go so stir crazy that he is going to damage the football and punt it into the stands. He might even pull out a sharpie and write down his arm about Republican Cain leading in some of the polls.

This dude is primo douche. Flava Clown, you are a wide receiver. No one is going to be fearing you on the other side of the ball.

86 catches for 1,014 yards and 3 TD's last year. Wow, simply amazing there folks. Sure worth the big contract he got.
And on pace for a whopping 4 TD's this year.

He is in Miami... He caught 86 balls...

Him and Lloyd would be the best 1/2 combo in the league.

Lloyd would never have been given the cahnce to start and break out with Marshall still here. Lloyd would be flipping burgers right now if Marshall were stilll a Bronco.

Maybe. McDaniels wasn't exactly good at spotting talent.

Lloyd is on pace for 0 TDs this season. I still think he is a very good receiver.

I think y'all are too hard on BM. He's trying to inject a little interest into a MNF lineup that could actually cost ESPN some money in the next tv contract.

Maybe he thinks they will hire him.

Other than that his job what he is paid for is the make catches, run for yardage after that and hopefully score.

I'm pretty sure there is not an incentive for hyping ESpN.

If he gets ejected from the game sounds like the club should subtract that portion if his game day check for conduct detrimental to the team as well as NFL.
Let's see if that on top of the $50k the NFL fines him gets his head case attention.
Since he does not seem to care about the league fine. Maybe it is time they get his full and complete attention.

Glad the moron is gone from here.

I bet he has 10 catches and 200 yards.

Really? I bet Revis shuts him down. Fish have no QB to get the ball downfield. Even with Steve Smith as QB Moore avg like 6 yrds a completion. He's a dink and dunker that will not scare any dbacks.

Revis going to come up on the line and play Marshall and limit any YAC IMO.

I loved BM when he was under Shanny and our offense.
After those repeated altercations, fights and what have you, started to become the norm of his off-season program, I no longer supported him.
It's sad. It's obvious by now he's the biggest problem to himself.
I just think the guy has some kind of mental illness.
The guy is seriously bipolar...
