View Full Version : How much worse is the DL now?

How badly does not having Big Vic hurt the Broncos - I know Thomas is coming back, and McBean and Bunk have been steady, but I like that big mean f'er Vickerson . . .

I see the team picked up a fullback to fill the roster spot presumably . .. but I'm worried about the DL (even more) without Vickerson . .. .

This could have been covered already, so if this thread dies, I'm OK with that.

Cheers . .

I think that Vickerson is fairly replaceable. It hurts our depth a bit, but he wasn't playing a key role, imo. He was a decent cog piece.

Hurts our Depth.... I think next week the starters would have been Bunkley and Thomas... So far even Mcbean has outperformed him IMO

Better than it was when Vickerson was healthy and Thomas was out.

Trade Orton for Ngata.

I think we have to be realistic here, it always hurts to lose a guy playing at a pro-bowl level but fortunately we have a multiple all-pro in Marcus Thomas so we should still make the super bowl.

Vickerson is an imminently replaceable cog on our line. McBean and he are a toss up.

If Marcus Thomas can finally live up to his potential it is a more than worthwhile exchange to lose Vickerson and get Thomas back.
