View Full Version : Royal, D. Thomas and J. Thomas expected back for Miami

I'm sure most would have predicted this timing, but cool to see rotoworld report on it.

http://rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5700/demaryius-thomas

Would be quite the infusion of receiving threats at just the right time.

Five receiver sets with these three + Lloyd and Decker would be some lulz.

Is there a pool for which order they will leave said Miami game with injury? There oughta be.

I'll give JT a pass but D. Thomas will probably tear his groin in warm ups.

J Thomas and Tebow seem like they could be nothing short of deadly together

I sooo want D. Thomas to work out. He can be another freakish WR. Line him up with Decker and Royal and perhaps Lloyd and I like the Broncos WR corps a lot. Couple that with the two young TE's the Broncos just drafted and this could be an explosive offense.

oh great, don't we have enough tebow threads.

oh come on now, I wasn't turning it into a Tebow thread, my point really was that a pass-catching tight end is any QB's best friend and especially a guy that will be working through being the starter

my bad for bringing up his name though, idiot

we've seen at Florida that Tebow loves to pass to his TE's and let them make plays so if we can get Thomas and Green to play up to their enormous potential we'll have ourselves a solid QB.

Demaryius Thomas just jumped for joy about his return and pulled his hamstring and will now be out for the next 6 weeks.

don't hold your breath on this guy. i love the potential and upside, but doubt he will be a focal point for this team any time soon

dead serious....in my opinion Fox only put in Tebow because the game was out of reach and he didn't want Orton going down with an injury in a meaningless game. Give Orton the bye week to work with the new offensive weapons coming back

if we learned anything from Sunday its that Tebow's whacky throwing motion is going to prevent him from effectively leading an NFL team

The more I think about it, the more i think Tebow's motion is the most overblown part about his game. He's severely behind mentally. When he knows where he is going, he throws a tight, good ball. When he doesnt, everything gets out of whack. Thats mental.

And what part of Kyle Orton has zero future with the denver broncos are you failing to understand? WHATS THE POINT OF PLAYING HIM!

I respect your opinion on Tebow, but I wouldn't characterize a division game against the first place team as "meaningless". 13-point halftime deficit is far from out of reach.

D. Thomas, not sure, I don't think anybody knows the extend of his injury, but himself.
We've got a nice fleet of WR's of different sizes and skills for any particular play. We just need to keep them healthy...

DT is a bad dude when he plays. He is a blue chip talent. It would be a shame if the guy didn't have a long, successful NFL career.

Here are some highlights to wet the whistle:

D. Thomas is such a freakin tease! He has the potential to be crazy good, but he can never stay on the field. We would have the best WR corp in the league with Decker, Thomas, Lloyd, and Royal all healthy.

This doesn't make him wrong...

Tebow was thrown into a game that the team was losing badly to the division leader. He produced points and made the team competitive. From this, we learned that Tebow can't lead an NFL offense? Very intelligent...

Binkythefrog
10-12-2011, 08:47 AM
I think from watching those clips he's gonna have to learn when he's gotta give up on trying to get an extra few yards and just get to the ground to avoid huge hits / getting in awkward situations that lead to injury. Seems to run upright when trying to make a play after the catch.

Also, hopefully we don't have him return kickoffs either like he did under McD although it doesn't really matter in the NFL this season.

Oh, okay, so even after it's specifically pointed out you still don't know that vance was joking. And then you question the intelligence of others. You're so buys defending Tebow what little ability you have to reason and comprehend has gone out the window, apparently...

In hindsight, I really wish we wouldn't have traded Gaffney for Jarmon. Put Demaryious on PUP and make the decision now when he's healthy. All in all, I'm excited to have them all 3 back.

Given the way some people are still clinging to Orton hope around here, the only way one could detect sarcasm in "Vance's" post is if you had your hand down his pants to check for his Orton hard on yourself. So how did it feel? Jacka**

I felt we were much more competitive in the first half with Orton....you could tell he was firing up that cannon for the second half comeback

plus, I heard he gave a monster halftime speech and thats what got the team going....then Tebow came in and calmed everyone down....took us right out of the game
