Who had a great time watching us lose today?

I did.

Luck is awesome, but holy &)+ do I love watching 15.

We are not going to win too many with tebow either. But it gives him atleast 10+ games and will get him in rythm with his receivers. Get some more play makers in draft next year (DL, CB, RB, OL, MLB) and we might be in business.

We don't need Luck. We have our franchise QB in Tebow. He needs to be given the coaching and the full backing of the FO. Build the rest of the team around him. Build that defense.

Luck doesn't play on this team. Screw him.

He's definitely special, even if extremely rough around the edges. It can't be quantified but there's something there that everyone else (not just Orton) doesn't have. It's off the charts levels of moxie.

Give Tebow the rest of the games and see what he can do. If Denver is in position to take Luck #1 overall, you grab Luck.

I wouldn't go so far as to say we have our franchise QB. We may have one. We need to give the guy the time to develop like virtually every franchise QB has needed in history. A lot of people are really unrealistic in their expectations when it comes to Tebow. It's like he has to play like Aaron Rodgers or he sucks. Give the guy time. Wait it out, and we could be in for great things in the future.

After today I can comfortably say there is absolutely no chance we are in position to draft Luck if Tebow plays out the season. Zero chance. Nada.

I believe Tebow can be the Franchise QB if given even half a chance to do so. He needs the coaching, and the backing of the FO/Elway.

The entire team was different in that 2nd half, and that was because of Tebow.

Indy is 0-5.

if we start Tebow the rest of the season and still beat out Indy in the "suck for luck" sweepstakes, that means Tebow probably isn't the guy afterall, so we draft Luck and start the next chapter in the QB saga. it makes so much sense, even coach Fox could understand it (if explained to him slowly of course).

This. Tebow is a winner. Anybody else is a un-proven commodity. I laugh at the "qb controversy" that refuses to actually exist.

Elway show on 102.3 8 @m tomorrow.

Mcgahee was great, oline was awesome. The chargers d line is horrible, but still.

I just love how he fires up everyone.

That dumb penalty, a couple drops, we win.

In tebow we trust.

sounds alot like last year when McD refused to put Tebow into the games until he got sick of being pestered by the media. once he did so, we immediately started scoring in the RZ and McD was forced to change his mind about playing him in that situation.

Gannon was doing everything he could in the 4th quarter to belittle Tebow until Tebow led the Broncos to 2 quick scores, and then even Gannon had to reluctantly admit that Tebow was just finding a way to get it done. when Gannon was harping on the trouble with the snaps, i was ready to jump into my TV and strangle the guy. also, why did we have to be subjected to Al Davis remembrances on a Broncos/Sandy Eggo broadcast? you know the crazy old bastard is laughing about that wherever he is now.

Except, the "gives us the best chance to win" completely disappeared after the game. In fact, Fox's comments were along the lines of "we need improvement from our offense so nothings out of the realm of possibility". This tone is completely different from what we've heard. It sounded like he wanted to name Tebow the starter right then and there except he didnt because he didnt want to be over-impulsive. But he fully acknowledged the improvement that we did. I actually think McDaniels was more stubborn than this.

I say screw it and let Tebow play. It's a win win situation. The media and fanbase wants tebow to play so we can see what he's all about (for the people who don't have the chance to watch him in practice). That will put fans back in Mile High, and media attention. If he does well then we don't have to use our first round pick on a QB, and we can get another position of need. If he does not, then everybody going to run him out of town, and EFX can get the QB they want after all (and they will have the fanbase behind the move). Why not! It's not like we are winning games with Orton anyway!

i don't think Fox paid close attention to the tape of Tebow's 3 starts last year. he seems to have made an evaluation of the guy based on the first couple of days of camp and has stuck with that until forced to re-evaluate that evaluation today. maybe... just maybe... he now understand why we've been screaming for Tebow. he's a gamer. he brings life to a team that simply goes through the motions with Orton. i don't doubt that Orton looks "prettier" on his 5-step drops in practice, but last i heard, you win games on Sundays in the league, not on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

He was essentially saying that Rivers maintained possession by holding the football with his mind.

Tebow makes us competitive every time he plays. We'll pull out enough games with him (two or three is all it will take) that Indy or someone else will own us for the #1 pick. I don't even think it'll be close at this rate...

Right now we would pick at #5 or so just to give you an indication.

And the Goat isnt loved by any means by his players at that. That I definitely believe. Enough leaks for this thread.
