At least you don't already know how it's going to end with Painter.

Though I love the pride of PSU, it's nice to see Painter get an opportunity.

On a less controversial note, I am surprised Indy is able to hang with the Steelers. Maybe Pittsburgh is starting to slip a bit?

It's pretty difficult to get less clutch than Orton. I really can't think of a time where he's come through in the last two years when we really needed a play to put us over the top and ice away a close game, bring us back for a win, or whatever.

He's just a complete failbot when you need a QB to make something happen.

Is there really any controversy left in the Orton debate?

Last year he got a pass interference call to beat the titans. That's about as clutch as he gets.

I think every TD drive so far this year has been aided by at least one personal foul call.

In each of the first three games the other team tried to give us the game and Orton was all, "umm...no thanks, you guys can have it."

The sad part is that I believe the guy wants to be good more than he ever has, but he just doesn't have it. The pressure to prove his doubters wrong only makes him worse due to the fact that he's terrible when he most needs to come through.
