By the way, what divisions are they matching up with in 2012?

it's hard to see this team as a "glass half full" proposition at this point. no depth. inferior QB play. anemic running game. lots of injuries. the only bright spots seem to be Decker, Colquitt, Prater, and Von Miller.

Not much you can do, other than slow the game down, minimize penalties and limit the Packers to field goals in the redzone.

The thoughts of Joe Mays isolated and trailing Jermichael Finley by 3 yards on a deep crossing route, is pretty ****ing scary though. Rodgers is just so good at going through his progressions at this point in his career. It will be interesting to see how this young defense responds to a guy with his ability to audible and hot read etc.

there won't be a meltdown. nobody in their right mind expects the Broncos to even be in the game at the end of the 1st quarter. we could well be down 17-3 or 24-3 by halftime. meltdowns happen when the team snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. i don't expect there is any chance of the Broncos beating GB this weekend. i might not even watch the game. i've seen these beatdowns too often in the past few years, and it's not a lot of fun to watch Orton fixate on Brandon Lloyd every drive as we go 3-and-out time and time again.

Denver Broncos at Green Bay Packers

When Denver Has the Ball
It should shock no one that the Denver Bronco offense is bad. Really bad.
There is absolutely no running game to speak of, and because of that the passing game, which could be impressive, is struggling. Without a run game, Kyle Orton faces constant pressure and is struggling to get the ball to playmakers at receiver and tight end.
Denver has the talent at receiver and tight end to put points on the board, but the Packer pass rush is brutally good, and they'll be all over the Denver backfield.

When Green Bay Has the Ball
Fans of aggressive, dominant play will enjoy this game.
On paper, there is no way the Denver Broncos can match up against the Green Bay Packer offense. At all.
Denver has one very good player, Von Miller, but he'll be a non-factor at weakside linebacker against a fast offensive line and the quick release of Aaron Rodgers (http://bleacherreport.com/aaron-rodgers).
Expect a big, big day from Rodgers and his five receivers.

Prediction: Green Bay 37, Denver 6

My God, I get the game. I might get a sixer of Sierra Nev and a ribeye. My kid being under 18 and a pescavegatarian can eat shrimp.

Not to pile on (I guess I actually really must want to since I'm taking the time to post), but Jesus, first Sunday game of the year that's on in my area and it's going to be the massacre.

The meltdown around here on Monday is going to epic wrapped in epicness. We are going to see calls for the retroactive re-firing and cutting of every coach and player all the way back to the Reeves era.

Hilarious!
