I was just thinking... this upcoming draft will be the 30th anniversary of Elway being drafted.

Like the 1982 draft, there is a very interesting QB prospect coming out of Stanford.

The Colts are truly bad this year, and just might be in the sweepstakes in getting aforementioned QB.

They say history repeats itsself.

Could it be that by some weird twist of fate that the Colts take Luck, and Elway somehow pulls a Stanford buddy-buddy thing, somehow convincing Luck that DEnver is the place to be, that gets Luck to request a trade?

I saw John Elway in his white Bently today, and then this though occurred to me.

But, the Colts will not be trading Luck this time. If Denver does go QB, hopefully we'll get a Dan Marino or Jim Kelly. And the Chiefs draft another Todd Blackledge.

So does Tebow. And we already spent a 1st on him. Don't you think it would be wise to see that investment through while addressing our ridiculous list of needs throughout the roster?

Two weeks into the season?
So the consensus says Luck will be an instant success and you want to say **** it all for a hope and a prayer?
Well good luck?

Orton gives the Broncos their 'BEST' chance to win now???

Passing - 39 of 71 (54.9%) for 499 yds, 7.0 yds/att, 3 TD's, 1 Int, Long 52 yds, 7 SACKS, QB Rating 85.4

50/50 Orton now has the Broncos at 1-1, which is actually pretty good,,, for him anyway.

PT's - 21st in NFL at 22.0 pts/gm

YD's - 23rd in the NFL at 314 yds/gm

Pass YD's - 20th in the NFL at 229.5 yds/gm

Rush YD's - 23rd in the NFL at 84.5 yds/gm
===================================

Please,,,,, Please,,,,, Please,,,,, Trade or cut that sorry/useless Tebow now.:thumbs:

Why you might ask?
Cause HE'S JUST NO GOOD, AND NEVER WILL BE, and here's the proof!

2010 NFL Rookie QB Passer Ratings:

1. Tebow -- 82.1 - 5 TD's to 3 Ints, Ratio 1.64 to 1. (3 starts, 5 TD's)
>>> Total Offense = 881 Yds, 10.5 yds/play, 11 TD's, 3 Ints, 0 lost poss fumbles. <<<

2. #1 Draft Pick Sam Bradford 76.5 - 18 TD's to 15 Int's, Ratio 1.2 to 1.

3. McCoy - 74.5 - 6 TD's to 9 Int's, Ratio .64 to 1.
4. Fox's Clausen 58.4 - 3 TD's to 9 Int's, Ratio .33 to 1. (10 starts, 3 TD's)
* Quinn - 56.8 in his rookie year 07 - only a 66.8 for his 3 yr NFL career.
** Elway - 54.? -- 7 TD's to 14 Ints
*** P.Manning set NFL rookie Int record will taking the Dolts to a 3-13 record.

Elway's 1st Bronco start: 1 for 8 for 14 yds with an Int and 4 sacks. (but he still continued as the starter)

Tebow's 1st Bronco start: 8 of 16 for 138 yds, 17.25 yds/comp, 1 TD and ZERO Ints, with a 100.5 QB
================

The Actual 2011 Preseason Bronco QB stats and RATINGS:

Plus, that's before you add in his 8, 2011 preseason carries for 56 yds, 6.9 ypc, Long 19 yds.
Notice that Tim continued leading ALL Bronco runners in Yards per Carry production.

The truth,...the truth...you Teboners can't handle the truth which much to your dismay will entail trading him (not that anyone would be interested outside the CFL) cutting him, or crosstraining him as either a TE, WR or waterboy.

Another shinning example of those who never tire of being WRONG!

I've been begging for a trade since the pre-season.

When the Phins said NO on Or-Ton, I suggested that they trade Tim to them instead. (Bronco chicken-chit front office imoho) Both afraid to play him and scared to death of trading him and having that come back to HAUNT them.

So please, get the front office to trade or cut Tim IMMEDIATELY.
Likely cures some of your internal team problems.
Likely guarantees you a very good pick in the next draft.
Probably gets rid of at least a portion of your knowledgeable fan base. ;)

And that's the truth..... _i_O_i_

Hey Macgruder, you can't fool everyone. How's Timmys nutsack?

Hey nutts-n-yourtail, I have no idea?

After-all, he's in YOUR house now, not mine....

"(not that anyone would be interested outside the CFL) cutting him, or crosstraining him as either a TE, WR or waterboy."

Shows just exactly how smart your OWNER is, he allowed Tim to be a Broncos 1st round pick.

Shows just exactly how smart your GM is, he didn't make ANY attempt to trade Tim to the Phins when they said NO to Denver's 'best chance to win' in 2011.

And after drafting Jimmy da Pickle, getting fired, claiming to be holding a 'FAIR' QB competiton (Quinn 69 - Orton 104 - Tebow 108), and not using/playing Tebow now, we don't even need to discuss how smart the current coach is.

IF Tim been out played in 2010 by any other Denver QB,

or IF Tim had been out played/rated as a QB in the 2011 preseason,

and IF Denver was winning big and looking good,

I doubt that any Tebow fan would ever be pushing for Tim to be the starter.

However,,, IF chit didn't STINK,,,, then it would smell GUD!
(much like the broncos and tailgutters breath)

Now :flush: twice, it's a long way to the front office....
