I'm new here, so maybe this has been gone over before, but I figured since we're into our third season now with Kyle at the helm, it'd be fun to look back. There's definitely been enough games for everyone to have at least one or two favorites amongst KO's greatest Broncos moments.

Here's one of mine.

8th game of the 2009 season. Denver gets the ball with 8 minutes to go, miraculously only down 14-10 after Kyle struggled through the game with a couple INT's. One returned for a touchdown. Somehow the defense kept Denver in the game to give Kyle one last shot at redemption. Let's go to the clip.

Orton supporters who bash Tebow supporters will say that if Tebow threw that ball it would count as 3 interceptions thus Tebow sucks and Orton truly gives us the best chance to win.

Kyle would argue it was when he signed a two year contract extension that would pay him $9 million his last year...

Yeah! That puts him in rare air with the other 99% of the American male population!

Yeah...

Is that why both ladies are as far as physically possible from Orton?

Fast forward to the end of 2009. 4th quarter. Possible playoff berth on the line. Broncos still within striking distance, in spite of a pick-6 late in the 3rd that helped keep KC in the lead... Would Kyle rise to the occasion? Roll Film

I've been a Kyle apologist, but he's losing me. That fumble last week is inexcusable.

Got up at 5 am drove 6 hrs to Denver to watch the Jets game last year. Broncos get the ball back with hardly any time left and Orton fumbles the ball and then stumbles around like a drunken bum trying to pick it up again.. GAME OVER. Had to ride 6 hrs home with a Jets fan...

This was the one that closed the book on Orton for me:

With the Broncos down 7-0 early in the fourth quarter after a Thomas turnover, the offense takes the field desperate to move the ball. Denver takes over at their own 20. 1st and 10. Orton calmly takes his 5-step drop, fakes the handoff, locks in on his receiver and delivers a strike...

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81b9305b/Johnson-pick-6

to a Raiders player...who promptly returns the ball 20 yards for a TD.

Then the bottom dropped out and Orton and the Broncos delivered a house full of Broncos fans the most embarrassing home loss in franchise history...to the Raiders of all teams.

There was a lot more than that was inexcusible from a QB who is supposed to be any of the following: accurate, smart with the football, able to read a defense, accountable, poised, etc.

Hey! I want you all to know, as if you didn't, that after the loss at KC last season, Borton said that "we" have to play better. Who the **** was he kidding? That was a close game that he could have won. 10-7, really? And the whole team needs to play better? **** you bum!

Those times he was injured and couldn't play... that was awesome!

That's right! Oh, that "fumbled" snap that was snapped a foot out of his reach! Where are your go-go Gadget arms, Kyle? TIM has go-go Gadget arms!

Pretty much sums up Orton right there. Never, ever comes through when you need it, and it more likely to kill your team than save it.

Elway and Fox sure have dropped the ball big time on the QB situation. Our 'new direction' seems straight down...

That's my favorite Kyle moment.

Let's watch, just to make sure. The play in question is at about 2:15.

Sorry, but if that fumble was because of the snap, QB's should be dropping 15 balls a game. 'pologists gotta 'pologize though I guess. :)
