Let's getting something for this clown while we can! He is the most over-hyped, under-skilled QB in sometime. Some team, failing to sellout their stadium and having the requisite idiotic GM, could be willing to give at least a 4th round pick for him, if not more.

OR!

We could play Tebow to get Luck. Elway's master plan, perhaps? Let Bronco Nation whip up in an obsessive fever for Tebow, so when he is inserted, the fanbase will watch like mindless twits and cheer him along as he leads the Broncos on a 12 game losing streak!

Because as we all know, losing with Tebow is FAR BETTER than losing with Kyle Orton. Bronco Nation likes to lose with youth, damnit! Let's see what we got, talent be damned! Bench Champ, start Vaughn! Let's do it with all the vets! Bench'em!

Was a lead cook at Chilis many moons ago in Arizona...

We definitely had the ingrediants to make one. I'd throw the teriyaki sauce on a burger with jalapeno jack cheese and some pineapple wedges, maybe a little mayo...
If you asked for it, and it wasnt too busy, generally I'd make for you. Made lots of stuff not on the menu. Came up with a few things that actually made it to the menu. I was frying sliced jalapenos with blossom batter and throwin em together with pork tacos. @ months later it was on the menu. I wanted some kick backs man! There was lots more.

Not really. I won't hijack this burger thread but it's entirely possible that Tebow is just a middle of the road NFL QB W/L wise.

The "which QB camp" are you in has gotten so out of control around here that people completely ignore the above scenario.

Camp 1: Tebow = Draft Luck
Camp 2" Tebow = Stone cold bad ass QBOTF

There was this hole in the wall in the town where I went to High School...Jim's Burgers. It was literally a shack from the 1960's crammed next to an office building. It was run by an old asian guy named Jim and his wife.

The cheesburger was the best burger on the planet, bar none.

Nothing exotic, just a cheeseburger with the best flavored patty you have ever tasted. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Mmmmm....Jims.

the Chinese eat some really nasty ****. and on top of that, alot of endangered animals are becoming extinct quickly because the Chinese (and lots of asian cultures) think that they somehow acquire magical abilities from animals by eating animal livers and ***** and rectums and eyeballs and all sorts of other nasty ****.

i was once taken to an authentic dim sum restaurant with a bunch of co-workers and was so repulsed by the things on the carts they were bringing around that i excused myself, got up, and left rather than stick around and risk being nauseous seeing what other people were willing to eat.

i'm perfectly happy eating a boring american diet without anything exotic in it. i am the opposite of that anthony bourdain guy. i have no interest in travelling the world and experiencing all of the world's cuisines. the French can have their frog legs. the Scots can have their haggis. the Scandinavians can have their weird pickled fish dishes. just gimme a turkey club sammich and i'm good to go. :)

I seriously think I'm developing a buffalo chicken wing addiction. It's probably not healthy. Last night's meal was buffalo tenders followed by a buffalo chicken sandwich. I want nothing more, right now, than to go to Hooters and sit down with a 50 wing platter.

It's kinda scary actually because I've probably had buffalo chicken 3-4 times this week and still craving hard. It's been like this for a while now.

Frog legs are actually pretty decent. It tastes a bit like swamp-marinated chicken. Its an interesting alternative to chicken.

Alligator tail is pretty good too.

Both of those things are quite American if you're from Louisiana.

i think they're considered more Cajun delicacies (i.e. a heavy does of French inspired cuisine). the Cajuns eat all kinds of stuff i wouldn't. but historically, living in the swamp, they had to. i can't ever imagine any reason i'd want to eat a reptile, so alligators are off the menu for me. same for amphibians, so no frogs.

you got me there. i forgot that i've eaten plenty of clams (NE clam chowder), shrimp, the occasional lobster tail, and steamed blue crabs in my life and lobsters/crabs are as nasty as anything in the louisiana bayous if you really think about it. however, i would never eat a softshell crab. just crabmeat from a steamed crab seasoned with Old Bay and beer. oh, i've also tried caviar on one occasion (some of the expensive stuff), but it didn't impress me.

Crawdads are better than lobster. I was at a race track in South Carolina, and this dude from Louisiana flew in 50 pounds of crawdads and cooked them up cajun style in giant pots. One of the top 5 things I've eaten. You rip the little suckers in half and basically only eat the tail meat, and it's unreal.

Hard core crawdad eaters suck the head too, but I wasn't having any of that. I ate about 3 pounds by myself. Paired with smoking hot women, race horses and about 12 mint juleps, it was a fun day.

There's a burger in West Palm Beach called like the "Grease Monster" or something. It comes with onion rings on top of a double or triple burger and then it's dripping in cheese sauce and ranch dressing. To top it off, it's like the size of my head almost. It's rough.

Is the meat texture like lobster or gooey? I envisioned gooey with whatever the poop lines from shrimp are called.

And the most extreme eat them raw. Ugh...

Ditto on avacados, love em.

As a kid I used to put peanut butter on beef jerkey, just tried it again 30 years later, not to shabby.

Any weird combos out there?

The texture isn't gooey at all. Very much like lobster tail. I can't attest to raw, but they were unreal.

They are softer raw than cooked but still pretty good. I wouldn't call them gooey. Nothing compares to a spot prawn though. They are the bomb...

Yup. Same exact animal, just a softshell happens to be molting at the time. As an East Coaster born and raised on the Eastern Shore of MD, there is not much on this earth better than a blue crab, softshell or steamed.

I guess technically he does have a point though, because there are parts of a softshell that you eat that would be picked out if it was a hardshell. Regardless, that sh*t is delicious.

backfin and claw meat is all that i ever ate. anything more than that always creeped me out. one of the reasons steamed blue crabs are so popular back in Maryland is that it's a social event. get a couple of bushels, spread out some newspapers on a picnic table, and sit down with friends and family and get to picking out that meat. usually with an O's game on the radio in the background. also the Old Bay seasoning makes having a cooler full of cold beers essential equipment as well.

Heaven. Except that the O's are so bad. I love them, but damn it's been forever since they've even been competitive. I used to always have the Broncos season to look forward to, but now, they are equally depressing.

i know. Angelos has ruined them. i'm at a point where i just don't care anymore. i expect the O's to lose (usually in a cringe inducing way) and don't even bother to check scores each night anymore. i predate Camden Yards though. never been there. i moved away from MD before it opened, so it "feels" like the O's memories of my youth at Memorial Stadium are still intact and not tainted by what Angelos has done to them since they moved downtown.

another thing i do miss about Baltimore are the small neighborhood italian delis where you could get authentic cold cut subs.

I went to a mess of games at Memorial too. I'm just about to turn 39, so 33rd street holds some great memories for me. Camden Yards is beautiful, but it doesn't have the same feel. More of the wine and cheese crowd now. Angelos is a tool. I hope that some how maybe Cal Jr. can find a way to pry the franchise from him, but I'm not optimistic.

Oh, and Little Italy does have some great places to grub. That is one good thing about Camden being downtown, you are within walking distance of some great little pubs and eateries.

Bench'em!

Who is with me?

100% with you.

I'd love to be a Tebow supporter, but I know too much about football.

Tommy Koulax is the founder of the "Original" Tommy's in SoCal. Shame on you for not knowing this, your man card is on temporary suspension.

Living in Las Vegas, it used to be a "mandatory stop" in Barstow whenever we drove out to SoCal to go to Tommy's. We finally got a couple locations out here!!

When I lived in Denver, Crown Burgers' Pastrami Burger was the guilty pleasure.
