I was about to say, "XXXX played well too", but I couldn't think of anyone. That's sad.

a1. qb - the mistakes of the qb undoubtedly cost this team the game
a2. OL - run blocking was terrible
a3. LB - beyond pass rushing, they sucked.

Orton...He is horrible in pressure situations..I lose hope when we are behind by a FG/touchdown in 4th quarter.

I don't see how it can be anything other than the entire offense.

1.) Orton: The fumble, the poor throws on check downs, the INT, indecisiveness, throwing low, throwing late, throwing behind. It was a disaster.
2.) The run blocking was horrible, the holding penalties, the failure to sustain any push, or establish any ownership of the line of scrimmage.
3.) Moreno made some decent catches late and was a solid blocker, but he was terrible running the ball. The play where he fumbled, he managed to lose his balance, trip and fumble the ball in one sequence. It was especially bad, because it was one of the few times a hole opened up.

To be fair to you, it was worded different than I would have done.

I was shocked by the way the Broncos were manhandled on both sides of the ball.

I voted QB, but it was a tough choice against the o-line. They really amplified each other's suckitude on Monday.

On a positive note, I was happy with the defense for the most part. They were put in some horrible situations and aside from allowing them to run all over us in the 4th, played pretty well. I think if the offense had been even close to mediocre, we would have won the game. That was the worst offensive display I've seen out the Broncos in... I don't know, ever?

Why would anyone vote for Orton? If you were disappointed then you clearly thought, before the game, he was something that he isn't. Disappointment means you expected better. So you're saying there was a bigger disparity between expectations and performance with Orton than with any other position? I think O-line is the clear answer here but that's just me.

I was expecting below average QB play.

I got some of the worst QB play I've ever seen.

Outside of wearing down late, I also thought the D did a pretty decent job. Much better than a lot of games last year. Only gave up 23 pts and 289 yards, despite dealing with 3 turnovers by the offense, and a blocked punt.

But the O-line was awful and I expected at least moderate improvement over last year. Orton pretty much just played below average Orton football.

Two separate things of equal parts:

1. Chicken or the egg

2. Outside of Franklin for Harris, same players, so why did you think that?

In the first quarter I texted my friend, "Orton is boring."

He responded, "It's like watching an old black and white silent movie."

From now on Orton is known to me as Kyle "Charlie Chaplin" Orton.

Return to the zone-blocking scheme instead of power blocking. Clady and Kuper had been dominant in the previous system. Seems to fit Beadles in terms of mental capacity for the game, and Walton to some extent too.

Instead we had a total regression across the line. But who knows, maybe the Raiders are really just that good.

Yes, all this. Plus I figured Clady and Kuper were healthier than last year and Beadles and Walton were more experienced.
